Definitely looks like a weather balloon. You can see its payload dangling vertically under it.

Never thought I'd say this, being someone who is very interested in the UFO phenomena, but that actually looks exactly like a weather balloon. You can even see instrumentation hanging down from the bottom of it!

That is a definite weather balloon, on Flightradar24, there was an object off the coast classified as a high altitude balloon.

It is a ballon. Contrary to popular misunderstanding these balloons are very sophisticated and are often used for military surveillance. If you look below the ballon you will see the instrument package hanging below it. They are made from a very light weight reflective material that retains helium long enough to reach high altitudes where the interior pressure of the ballon inflates it to near bursting.

There's zero conspiracy to this. On one hand, that airspace is highly monitored so I'm not surprised in the slightest about that scramble. It adds to the pilots flight hours who probably weren't doing anything at the time anyway, and the crossing of t's and the dotting of i's for air surveillance in assurance that it's not some kind of spy drone with a camera attached. I'm certain they knew it was a weather balloon belonging to someone who simply wanted to make it go as high as possible, since that sort of thing is become popular on KZfaq. But of course, with that kind of military presence they needed to make sure. I for one appreciate them being thorough, no harm, no foul and sure as hell no aliens.

1982 Field Training Exercise somewhere between Fort Hood TX & New Mexico. We (30+ Soldiers) were on top of a hill in darkness with the lights of a town visible from about 5 miles away. In the valley below us there were two orbs stationary in the air. Consensus was that they were flares - until they started maneuvering. The orbs were doing smooth circles maneuvers over each other. Although it wasn't threatening, it was eerie. My platoon Sergeant came & stood next to me in amazement as well. At the end of the 30 day Field Training Exercise, I asked my Platoon Sergeant if he found out what the orbs were & he said that he hadn't. I remember asking if we had witnessed a UFO? I don't remember his response, but remember that we never mentioned it again. That memory has been buried in the back of my mind all of these years until the Navy UAP reporting started & the pandemic gave me time to reflect on EVERYTHING! Knowing what I know today, that incident should've been entered in the logbook. Wonder if the National archives received a copy?

So the Air Force sends out a pair of jets to identify a 'balloon' that was observable on flightradar24? Sounds like either it's overkill or something else was in the airspace that could not be confirmed as a 'friendly'

I'd suggest talking to the National Weather Service in Nevada; I am pretty sure they've got a track on this weather balloon.

I saw the same thing on the same day but it had a wing shape but was just sitting there all blue sky no clouds and it just disappeared. It was pure white like your video . I saw it in darby pa. It was morning Monday

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah and just today i noticed a whole lot of cloacked saucers in the clouds, black triangles would appear then disappear about 1/4 second later. Something's happening with that stuff because lately, there's been a lot of activity, world wide.

I personally have seen multiple UFO sightings on Kauai. I’ve seen one come from the base location over the mountain. I live on the south side. I was walking in Lihue and seen an object like this about a year ago.

A couple of years ago i saw something very similar on the hilo side of big island. Lots of people at the playground saw it as well. Tried filming it but it looked too blurry. The only reason i didnt think it was a weather balloon was its flight pattern was back and forth over a long distance.

All the guy had to do is wait for the jets get close to it. If its a balloon its not going to move it will stay there. If its something else it might take off. They never mentioned that part.

If you're looking for UFO's it's good to know what actual weather baloons look like in the sky. I was with a group that launched these regularly for schools in the area. There's a lot of them that fly up there. You are supposed to notify the FAA when you launch them if the payload is over a certain weight. And. Something like 50 miles from the nearest airport

I have similar pictures of something kind of similar but I noticed this object that I accidentally captured has zoomed through the cloudy sky. I reviewed the photos after I got home I was like whoa! It was this perfectly round but mysteriously distorted object I captured in three different photos as it zoomed threw the sky

What I'd seen 2 mos ago looked liked this traversing over the hills in the valley..it was silent and blurry in it's core, not so defined as this but orb shaped; about the size of a large bus I think....also it was about 3 in the morning

a few years ago, here in Brazil in the city of Itapoá, in the state of Santa Catarina, I saw an object exactly like this one, I was walking in the morning and it stayed in the air for about 20 minutes, unfortunately I didn't have my cell phone to record it.

Balloons cost lots of money if used properly. Someone launches a big balloon and walla military jets are sent up to intercept it. That’s pretty costly to just check out a balloon.
