Couldn't look when you found the poor cat,shame someone couldn't bury his remains,😿😿

What an incredible find...so sad to see all those memories lost to time. Poor kitty, such a horrific end!! I love how you are so respectful when you are exploring. I watch a guy and he always says, "Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints" at the end of all his explores.

A reminder of how materialistic our lives become..and when one is gone it loses it's personal value. 🥺

Looks like it was a beauifull home once. Poor cat, it must of been terrible to realise no one was coming back for them. Love the car too. I hope the wrong people dont find this lovely litle place. Aww, poor cats, itll always stay with me, as to how he thought hed been left hungry and alone, looking for his family, Always carry an animal tag on your keys or wrist, to let others know your animals are home alone, in case of an accident, brilliant lovely, little home Dave, thank you xx

It's so sad that the father was left all alone there being in poor health. I guess he & his son had a falling out & the son just left. It's a shame the poor cat was left there like that too. I guess the father was so far gone that he didn't tell the people who came to take him out. Just a sad story all the way around. 😔 Thank you for sharing this place with us. And please do be careful walking around in these old places.

Thank you for another great explore. The old place had a sad, lonely feel to it. And I especially felt bad for the cat. I hope some day family will return and claim the property. It could be a lovely country home again with clean up and renovations.

The son new he passed, how could he not come back for the cats. So cruel. Nice little house though. I'm sure it could tell you a few stories.

So sad two cats trapped inside someone must have known he had cats especially the son as there were pictures of grandchildren. I understand that people left alone can be very unhappy and don't want anyone to visit them so maybe thats why they cats were left nobody knew about them until it was to late great little find guys.

Hi, I'm from Sri Lanka too. I love your exploration videos. I was watching this video and the story about this house is very sad. I got some idea about various people's lifestyle and their own characteristics in their living style. So this is a very useful video for studying people's backgrounds and their nature. The most interesting thing is why rich country people abandon their properties like this. In our country, there are so many poor people who don't have their own home or property, so the activities of rich country people are very questionable to me.

What a sad story, but many of these abandoned places do. That poor cat or cats! Yes I would enjoy a night explore with you, you might ACCIDENTALLY get something spooky happen! Thanks, Dave and friends!

I look at these videos and I'm afraid I'll turn out the same way. My wife died, daughter abandoned me and my home once was very nice and clean, depression sets in and although my home isn't falling apart, I have stuff everywhere I keep picking up like it will give me something to do, and becomes a heap of crap. I'm disgusted with myself at what I've become, and sit all day doing nothing just waiting for the days and nights to pass.

Thought you said he was found dead in the house. He came home from hospital...and has for no one checking on any animals that may have been left realy sickens me.

Hi Dave loved this one took me back to my great uncles house, used to love spending time there when i was young, the different whiskey bottles were cool, it was amazing how they would make do and mend thanks for taking us with you 🙂

I would think the school photo is the grand daughter, maybe the son did visit. Places like this were a happy place at one time so we shouldn't feel sad.

Them poor cats :’(. How could anyone leave a home behind and forget about it they will have knowingly gone and that they were leaving innocent animals to starve to death! So so cruel!! If they were his dads cats what an insult to his dad to do such a thing :’(

I wish my daughter felt that way. I thought i was a great mom.. always had a house full of teens hanging out..(i even let her friend move in for awhile bc his home life was horrible) one day in her 20’s she just shut me out of her life says to never contact her and my heart is in shreds..a parents love is just something you don’t understand unless you become a parent yourself..I am heartbroken and the pain is never ending. Every single day i cry over her.. please do not cut your parents off.. it WILL BREAK THEIR HEARTS.

Living here in America, I know our customs are somewhat different. But you said something that really touched me about time was short. I didn't always get along with my father, but I was with him when he passed. Because I owed him that dignity and respect because he was my father. My wife and I were with my mother when she passed. I could not bear the thought of either of them being alone. I am sorry for the son. In this case, I am sure he has a lifetime of regrets, but no one knows what happened. It is really sad. On a lighter side, I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your channel, and I truly appreciate your respect when visiting these old homes. Especially in the way you treat the people who may have lived in them. Thank you from across the pond in America.

Weird the son left his car when left,hope no bodies in those big freezers,just saying,just woke from a nap ,started watching,hope your doing well, something could have happened to his son , looks like he would have been back ,poor cats ,that's sad ,didn't have family to realize the cats were there ,they probably hid when strangers came in ,I enjoyed it as usual ,you do a great job showing places

The son left because the house so chaotic and badly kept lived in the caravan The man seemed to like his whisky What a way to live how sad I have two cats I love them they are so well taken care of They miss us so much if we are not with them they sleep on the bed with us poor little things made me sad
