I bought a brand new aftermarket hub carrier. That pin on mine (measure by cheap callipers) is 27.1mm

When you unscrew the hub does it drop away easily. I can't get the hub off for some reason I have a good hit lots of times with an hammer and it stuck on what can I do

This hub design is from the first few years of the model. After that, Peugeot changed the hub design and there are no more problems with this bearing.

I have coupe 407 and I have a rare knocking, I've changed the shock absorber and shock absorber base and knocking still remains, it is louder when the car goes up, could you please describe the noise?

@Rick Hough The citroen c5 model 3 has the same suspension setup wheel hubs etc. Not much on the C5 on here so this is helpful

I think its pretty well made not Bmw but not a bad car and nicer than VW Passat of the same year
Replacing lower wheel carrier joint aka "frog leg" aka frip joint found on C5, C6, Peugeot 407, 508.
