MCF has been through a long journey. For this game, the old lady is the mother of a girl who got caught in an incident in Dire Grove (MCF 6: Dire Grove). The 4 students came to DIre Grove as they didn't believe in the myth of Banshee but then all 4 of them were almost sacrificed for the ritual. As Banshee's physical body was destroyed, she found another way to resurrect, and that led to this game. All the other characters here are also related to the master detective: Nigel was once worked for Madame Fate Carnival (MCF: Madame Fate and MCF: the Fate carnival). The old man working in the shop used to restore the RavenHearst mansion into the museum (You have been through some of the games related to the RavenHearst family). For MCF Madame Fate and MCF Raven Hearst, the first 2 games of the series are the classic Hidden object game so it's kinda boring but the story is thrilling. You can check the list below for all the games related to this newest release (The next one will be released at the end of this month). I will mark the related chapters with "R": 2.1 Huntsville 2.2 Prime Suspects 2.3 Ravenhearst (R - the classic gameplay of finding hidden object and reading story) 2.4 Madame Fate (R- the classic one but the minigame is really awesome and the story is so awesome. I keep replaying this one) 2.5 Return to Ravenhearst (R - the beginning for all the modern Hidden object game as Big Fish was the leading company for this genre) 2.6 Dire Grove (R - directly related to this chapter) 2.7 13th Skull (You have played before.) 2.8 Escape From Ravenhearst (R - you have played before. One of the best games in the series) 2.9 Shadow Lake (You have played before. Real actors and real places) 2.10 Fate's Carnival (R - you have played before. Big Fish gaved the game to Elpix so that why the graphic design is different) 2.11 Dire Grove, Sacred Grove (R - not too related, same place but different incident) 2.12 Key to Ravenhearst (R - the first part when the burned house is restored into a museum) 2.13 Ravenhearst Unlocked (R- the second part to Key of RavenHearst) 2.14 Broken Hour 2.15 The Black Veil 2.16 The Revenant's Hunt 2.17 Rewind 2.18 The Countess 2.19 Moths to a Flame (R - the ending scene has been shown in this chapter) 2.20 Black Crown 2.21 The Harbinger (We are here) 2.22 Crossfade (Will be released at the end of this month) Hope this may help. I'm a big fan of this series but when Big Fish gave up this game and another company took over, some of the latter chapters didn't live up to my expectation. Thankfully, this chapter is acceptable with tradition cliff hangers :)))))

This is so nostalgic for me. I used to play these hidden object games on my mom's computer when I was little.

I just love putting on Gabs HOGs videos while I'm working. It's so relaxing and her voice is so calming when I'm feeling stressed out.

Aisling is an Irish name. Ash-ling is how to pronounce it. You can tell its irish from the fact it has letters that you wouldnt usually put together hahaha. Banshee is from Irish myth as well, Bean Sídh - Fairy Woman (ish) Female spirited that if heard wailing is a sign that one of her relatives is about to die. I also find it interesting that Aisling looks like Hibernia, Hibernia is a very old name for what is now Ireland but Hibernia is personified in paintings as a redhaired woman usually standing in nature with a green dress on.

As you mentioned, in the uk, the 5th November is a big thing here. It’s also called bonfire night, or guy faulks night. This is because way back when guy faulks tried to blow up parliament, but somone was a snitch, and so everyone died or got tortured. ‘Remember, remember the 5th of November, gunpowder, treason and plot. I see not reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.’

The ending shows what happened in the game “Like Moths to A Flame.” When they broke free from a device that drains people of their psychic abilities.

Hidden object games are my favourite, you ever play the Enigmatis series? I recommend them highly!

If I remember correctly - Valerian root used to be used to calm seizures (like AGES ago before modern medicine).

Even though this video’s from a year ago I couldn’t help but comment because of seeing dire grove in the diary… me and my best friend used to play mystery case files basically every day when we were younger and dire grove was always our favourite because to us it was the scariest so ever since I’ve came across you playing these games I’ve been manifesting that you just happen to want to play mystery case files again and just stumble across dire grove and play it because it is a bloody good one and it would be brilliant to see you play it 🙌🏼❤️

Oh, my mom and I played this one!! If you want another few good ones, check out the ravenhearst series. The first one is kinda slow, but the second one and beyond are really really good, we played them all the way through. One of them I speed ran half of because we ran into a glitch. Hope to see you play it!

Everything in the recipe looks edible so I wonder if that recipe can be reenacted. The game had a lot of folk lore that I was able to recognize so maybe they did research on her recipe too. Grape, Pine cone jelly, rose, and the spices. The spices were anise, Cinnamon, and I don't know the yellow or green
