Let's have some fun! I poured this painting and I want you to tell me how I should embellish it! To help me decide, click on the community tab on my channel and answer the question in the Mystery Painting Poll. The most popular answer will guide me for the second video! You'll then tell me what I should do for the third and last video! Let's see what we can create together. :-)
Colors used in this painting:
-Payne's Grey
-Gold
-Metallic blue
-Moonstone
-Light turquoise
-Metallic turquoise
-Turquoise Phtalo
-White Wall paint
All the colors are mixed with floetrol and water.
1 part paint for 2 parts floetrol.

I see an ancient cave, or an etherical or even earth core portal/channel. Very 3D... it's definitely traveling, taking the eye somewhere inward- very deep. Can not WAIT to see your inspiration come to life again!

Well, since I own the best dragon you have painted since I've been watching you; I would have to go a different way with a turkey head due to the time of year and hens and roosters are very big in the art world this year. Whatever you choose, when you embellish anything, I am just totally impressed with your work as you know. I look forward to seeing what you choose. My best to you Elyse.

It looks like part of the head, including the eye, of an ancient creature - a dragon or something. It's beautiful just as it is, it doesn't need any embellishment.

My imagination is non existent, but if I'm honest all I see is water cascading down into an open rocky (gold mine) shaft surround by yellow wildflowers. And if I look from the side of my eye, I might see a cherub (or goblin) or two climbing out. But that's just me. I won't even know how to begin to embellish that. It's already beautiful. Can't wait to see what you come up with.💚 I love this interactive challenge.

In the middle of the video it was resembling a Great Horned Owl for me. But the end makes me think ancient forest surrounded by gold fairy lights. Gorgeous, as ever. Love your work! ❤️

Although it´s not the point of this vid- I wouldn´t change a bit, it´s perfect. The imagination, what it might be (dragon´s head, dinosaur, an old old being from a far flung corner of the universe...) all of that happens in the head of the viewer and is the fun part of it. The creativity is yours- the imagination is ours, thank you indeed for this amusing inspiration.

I read theys sometimes added gelatine....overall it has to be the right consistency for all this to work.

For whatever reason, I am not able to vote or leave a comment on the poll. so I'll do it here. It looks like a close up of Godzilla's eye as it is, so I think it only needs a little more depth using the colors already in it. Great job! I'd be afraid to touch it, so I'm really excited to see what you do.

In the darker areas could you float some brightly colored, appropriately sized metallic webs following the contours already poured? Like Plasma Discharges. Your work is spectacular and I enjoy watching the evolution of the painting, also the music. Thank you for giving us a part of your imagination and skill.

I don’t have the right app for community on my iPad, but I think it looks like the eye of a pre-historic bird and needs some scales and feathers. BTW , It’s an awesome pour to begin with.

It looks like an elliptical spiral that narrows down like a tunnel or well. The bottom could end in just a swirl. The top of the spiral begins to the right, so that the spiral goes clockwise. 🌀🍥🍭🙋

It looked like a grotto when it was still wet, dry I’m not sure. But it’s beautiful.

Highlight the parts in the middle and do some shading there to give it depth, like a vortex.

Thank you so much! I never use any silicone. This gold paint is Liquid Metal by Dulux, a house paint that reacts the same way as the white paint I use to make the pearl cells usually.

I'm seeing either a chameleon or a dystopian hellscape chicken. XD Seriously though, this is a really intriguing design. Can't wait to see the next steps. Can I ask - what gold did you use to get those type of cells?

😂 I saw the chicken head too... The gold I used is Liquid Metal by Dulux, a house paint, that's why it reacts the same way as the white paint I use to make these cells around the canvas.

hmmmm!!!! this is a tough one !!! the cells on the outside remind me of fairies, something magical, but it does remind me of a dragons eye also , but by the right top could look like a unicorn horn lol , i see alot !!! or if you stand back it does look like a birds head lol but what can it be that is not so obvious ????? hmmmmmm????? i say go with something magical like your art !!!!!!
