8 жыл бұрынWe'd been requested a few times to challenge ourselves to swap pencil cases. We use pretty different art supplies so it was .. interesting to say the least haha! This is also the first we've seen sun in about a year or something, so we were a bit too eager to go outside without coats on. It was still pretty chilly though wooops.

You could do a drawing swap! You sets timer for one min. You start the drawing and when the timer goes off you switch. And keep doing it till you finish. Just thought it would be a fun doodle date

aaah man I hate blending stumps, I applaud all who use them properly (Adam!! hehe) but this is such a cute challenge!! I'll have to find a victim to do this with mwahaha (unleashing the brush pens on everyone)

I think they're hard to use because there's really no way to clean off the pencil from them. I've literally assigned ends of my tortillas for colors and graphite because of this.

+Kip Gunter I just use graphite with mine, but I find dirty ones are easier to use?

+Amy Play They are if you want to just use the dirtier ends for shading without gettting the rough-looking lines of the pencil, but if you just want a light shade and your blending stump isn't clean enough it's hard to get the right tone. At least, for me.

Hey guys you could also do the will make this up but you guys could do the Three Maker Callenge Switch so like... Steph will pull out three markers and Adam gets those colors and Adam pulled out three markers and Steph gets those colors You guys don't have to do if you want to I was just given idea for a video it would be kind of cool to see

I think it would be a neat idea if you both went to an art store, buy a few few little art materials for each other and make a drawing with the supplies you bought for each other. It'll cost a little bit of money but it'll make for a cool doodle date in my opinion.

Awe I don't think she was Meloncoly, not sad, just enjoying her plastic flower lol Graphite pencils are a difficult medium to use, if you don't use them regularly. I love my pencils. Started at 4 yrs old and I wouldn't swap them for anything else when sketching or working out a project, or pre line work. I've recently returned to oils, so I've just bought Sepia and senna colour sketch pencils for my canvas as graphite tends to shift and move, mixing with your paint in an inconvenient way... Love the doodles, thanks for the smiles and the duck lol x

Funnily enough, oils are one of the few mediums I've never tried before! Our house is pretty small though so it's probably a secret blessing I haven't got addicted to working on huge canvases (yet) :) Hopefully one day I'll be able to give it a try, it looks fun! & wasn't that such a pleasant duck haha!

I'm a budget artist and used to use the same sketch pads as you from the works till I was in hobbycraft the other week and they have these new sketch pads. they are called West design and are pastel shades on the cover. and range from £1-£4 a pad and are such good quality and seeing as you have almost finished your sketch pads it seemed a good idea to let you know.

I just checked out the shop and oh my goodness! Such adorableness everywhere and I can't take it! I have to buy all the things. Especially the leaf sticker... like at least fifty of them. Also, I would love to see a slobbery dog cushion sticker or tote bag somewhere... The challenge was cute as always.

Finally have internet at my new house, and finally got to watch this :) I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets goosebumps when people use stumps. It also happens with nail files and dry skin rubbing :/
