Hi from France. I'm using it for two months, now, and it really changed my life. My style of navigation is mostly long freeride edges along the beach or full speed during various hours. I was getting arm tendonitis (age no doubt 😁). With this harness, it has become more easy again, and as a former windsurfer the adaptation was quick. Aloha.

Hey Tucker, thanks for the review. I thought i heard somewhere the loop on back was removable, is that true? I use a reel waist leash for my board, was wondering if i could mod the harness to be able hook it on there somehow. Have any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Tucker. Is this lighter than the Dakine Solo? As far as the hook goes. Do you find this hook better than the Dakine that can go flat? maybe its easier to get into because it doesn't lay flat? Advantages and disadvantages to that I guess. Great reveiew, Thanks.

Thanks Mike, I'd say this is maybe 2 oz heavier than the Solo but I do find that it suits me better. The profile is more supportive and the hook is easier to work with. I find the Dakine hook isn't always in the right spot to hook in and has more difficulty sliding on the rope harness to adjust power. It's a personal preference but I find the Wingman hook more user friendly. -Tucker

@@MACkiteboarding Thanks so much Tucker. Have an unrelated question if you don't mind. Recently picked up a 5m glide A series. Was hoping due to the range of these wings I might get by with my next size down being a 3m glide. I'm 70kg. Do you think that is too much of a gap? my small wing now is a 2.6 Takuma WR and with a bit of pumping I get a fair amount of use on lake ontario. But I really find the takuma 2.6 gets very squirrly when even a bit overpowered. Was hoping the 3m glide even though bigger would handle the big gusts better and of course have way better low end. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I was also considering that Dakine harness, but Tucker made really an important point: if that hook is flat at time when you need to hook in, how you gonna do that? e.g. grab wing at front handle, set hook and then hook in with both hands? That seems really unreliable. I've also ordered this Wingman.
