This evening, we will return to P.W. Joyce's Social History of Ancient Ireland and examine the 'Ordeals' - which were an ancient practice of determining truth or falsehood, guilt or innocence, and developed from prehistoric times in Ireland. I will also pay tribute to the late Jack Roberts, megalithic author, researcher, pioneer and discoverer, who sadly passed away at the age of 74 on the eve of Summer Solstice.
