ok I was about to come down in the comments and tell u how much u disappointed me. u still did kind of. the roof that had"nothing" on it had the gilded grasshopper on it which would have led u to gold silver and copper bars along with a rare sword and the eyebot didnt just shut down. the raider with a knife killed it.

Hey guys my name is eso and this is a story all about how my vault got flipped right upside down. My wife kicked the bucket and my son got lost so I had to get him back at all costs. In North west Boston born and raised with Mr gutsy was were I spent most of my days. Chilling out maxin relaxing all cool all shooting some bball ouside general atomics. When a couple of raiders who were up to no good started killing people in my neighbourhood. I got in one little fight and Preston got scared he said we're moving back to concord where we'll actually get spared. That's all for part one folks!

+Trench McCoat there is a pic mod to make an eye out but you can't use the no modeling for legal reasons, at least I believe so, and I think you would have to make the audio files from no to 4 yourself.

1. At the first time to faneiul hall, it said to "recover the pulse mines from faneiul hall" and 2. It didn't shut down, it was SHOT down because you didn't protect it.

If you had gotten the Grasshopper on top of that pole (where that yellow "ball" thing you walked on) it had a note inside of it. That leads you to a grave, when you dig it up you'll get gold bars, and I think a few other things & a Special Chinese Sword in the coffin as well... For those who didn't know that, or see it... (Which you catch glimpses of in this video.) You're welcome.

I like how high it flies, which must speed things up quite a bit. Thank you for posting this video. I don't think anyone else followed it the entire way. I followed one for a while and a Raider shot it down. I had to use Repair on the pod before it would work again. I like that ADA gives you junk. Once, she gave me a teddy bear. I was sent to Faneuil Hall many times searching for crafting components. It was always in a wall safe behind the locked door in the basement, and the quest pointer shows you exactly where it is. You will want the Lockpicking perk or put the lockpicking module on your robot companion as the wall safe is an Expert lock.

i was imagining the eyebot would go to a super duper secret stash and lower a little mini crane stored inside of it and then pick up some pulse mines and then deliver it to you

1. You didn't have to follow the eyebot 2. You killed the eyebot when using the shotgun 3. Why did you you use a shotgun to save the eyebot. The raider was next to the eybot. Shot gun is a aoe type of wepon. Shotgun Shotgun Shotgun.....

EYEBots! The most useless things since the Fatman Launcher doesn't have Enemy Friendly Fire! (Saw a guy use a fatman launcher near his friends, 100% ok no health damaged nor the person who fired it was damaged) I was hoping eyebots go into the waste and bring back things for you, instead it gives you a goose chase to get that thing you wanted, when you can already do that by playing hoarders or merchants.

I hope you know by now that it will search around until it finds the item specified, then report it on the pip boy and flag it on your map. Then retrieve at your leisure.

What sucks about automatron DLC: A lot of the upgrades for the robots require rubber. Eyebot can not find rubber.

You can make a eyebolt station in your settlement if you find the schematic and they will bring any component ammo or explosives to your base

In the mechanists lair you can find the plan to build one in your settlements, you need to wait in bed or chair for about 2 hours and then look on the map and hell will be on the map, go there find your loot

That location takes you to a graveyard to collect another evil relic, its a sword called Shem Drowne (deals radiation damage) and comes with quite a bit of lore.

you're not supposed to follow it and after about an hour ingame time it will find what it was searching for and it will have a quest marker on it.

you don't need to follow the eyebot, it will just go off on its own and find stuff, and if you go into quest under miscellaneous, you'll find the eyebot quest, and when you select it, an icon will appear where the loot is

LOL I "watched" this while doing some other stuff... I've gone through the "hey, eyebot, find me this and this" routine, and just knew you'd come out almost empty handed (it found me 12 rounds of some ammo, can't remember which, also in a building I had to clear before getting to it)

Also i have three eyebot posts set up in my base every morning i send them to find things TRACK THERE PROGRESS ON THE MISC TAP UNDER QUESTS and go to the locations later that day let this be advice p.s you get two blueprints in the mechensts lair.

I feel the need to correct that entire comment. So, lets begin. "I have 3 eyebot posts set up in my base, every morning I send them to find thing. You can track their progress on the miscellaneous section of the quests menu, then go to the location later that day. PS: You get 2 blueprints in the Mechanist's Lair."

when you use the eyebot the game just generates the item at a random place and gives you a quest marker

You do know you can send it off sleep/wait an hour and the location of the item your looking for will show up as a quest under misc

with the thing where you were at fuenal hall you could look at the bottom of the screen and it is the line with an empty box or it was outside in the front of the building where you came in.

This video is so funny. The dude doesn't realize that when you ask an eyebot to find something, it gives you a mission to pick it up when it finds it. You don't need to chase after it.

It doesn't necessarily go off in the direction of the actual item. My first one went off to the east from Starlight Drive-In, and then a few hours later it ended up locating my nuka grenade in South Boston. I was going to try following it, but it flew down through the ground and got stuck in the Rotten Landfill.

There are blueprints for this at the end of the mechanist's lair so you can build one at your settlements

This device randomly appears in different places on the map. I've run across it 6 or 8 times. Always in a new location. The best way to get results, for me, is to follow the eyebot.

You don't need to follow the eye bot it will find more and more as long as you are on line and then you call it back and it will have a lot of that item depending on how long you waited

You have to follow the little thing on you map, when you where inside it had a number above it. The smaller the number the closer you are, btw I mean the map in between the health and ap not the pipboy one.

Has anyone else got the never reload shotgun? I got it early in the game from raider settlement in one of the subways. Its like a rapid fire shotgun that you never have to reload.

You don't have to follow the eyebot. Just go to the miscellaneous quest and make it active. After around 10 or 15 minutes you will get the notification to find the item you wanted.

so... 5 hour walk through the wasteland to the opposite side of the map, got really bummed when the eyebot went 404 error and killed itself after finding its location (after being pwned by a "lucky" grenade), went on a frustrated and grueling cleaning service to the Hall, and only to realize... you could have just gotten your mines on the first room you entered and cracked the safe... Sounds like stalking eyebots lead to adventure.

When I went there i found the golden grass hopper as well as a legendary super mutant with a guss rifle that does 50% more damage if your enemy is at full Heath which equals I was getting rekt

The loot system in FO4 was such a joke..just the same 5 fucking guns over and over with a different mods, because Ive always wanted to loot things called fast loading hardened quick reloading pipe rifle and then a fast loading softenedd slow loading pipe rifle

It doesn't die when it finds it it got destroyed aaaand you didn't have to follow it,it finds it while you are doing your stuff and it tells you the location later

Eyebots were a little disappointing,not that you have to go get what they found but sometimes how little they find.Sent one to look for copper,it recovered one copper,ammo was a little better,or better it's behind a master lock.Doh.Nothing up here but the Golden grasshopper.

Did u get the golden grasshopper on top of that building. Its for a side quest and its really rare i think. I was on top of the yellow rod on top of the building
