Could be, have yet to ask Alex at Panthers Hobbies. Locomotive was honestly like that the way I got it unfortunately and REALLY dosent do well especially with pulling even just 4 bombardiers on its own, pretty disappointed with the $200 spent on it, found it at a flea market as well as my other 608 from a guy who claimed to have been just a collector & never had a layout. The 608 was pretty good as seen in this vid but 607…. not sure now if I’ll believe he was telling the truth when he stated he never had a layout. Yes I was able to test run it also but since it was just a small & straight test track… obviously can still easily give a false impression. Especially without any cars being pulled behind it

Well if your son collects HO scale, Rapido trains (a model railroad production company) JUST had their first run of the GO coaches this summer so I’d consider calling Credit Valley Railway in Mississauga if your anywhere near that part of Ontario, or really I’m sure any local dealer from a hobby shop that sells model trains can be able to try and find/order some for you. Don’t wait tho, once they sell out in stores, they become super rare and collectors end up paying like 3+ times their original MSRP when they become available on eBay after they sell out in stores. Again they sell quick collectors like myself really love those coaches If he’s a n scale collector (the smaller scale)… there are a few on eBay I believe if you search up n scale Athearn GO Bombardier but still listed at like $150CAD + shipping for a single car or $400cad for a 3 car pack. Original MSRP was about $50-60 a single & $150 for a 3 pack. (Athearn was the previous model railroad company that made the coaches before Rapido, this summer again was only rapidos first production run) Very good chance Rapido will make them in n scale within the next couple years. The Rapido models are more expense than the previous Athearn’s but they got better detail and include interior lighting in the coaches which Athearn models I myself have do not. In terms of the locomotives, Rapido I believe also resonantly had a run of the GO F59phi locomotive in HO and you could ask the dealer at the hobby shop about that also. Great chance Rapido will make then in n also if they do the coaches in n within the next couple years which I am very sure will happen. Locomotives I had in this video for my n scale set were a custom Kato run back in 2014, very hard to find now Good Luck👍🏻👍🏻 hope I helped

Purchased them from Athearn back when they were released in summer of 2017. Incredibly hard to find now but decent chance I’d say for Rapido to consider making them in both HO and N within the next few years.
