Hi we have been renting for 3 years never late at $1450, but right now my husband is the only income a low income around $30,000 with a car loan $478 his DtI is high what Naca would expect for us to do We would be find paying mortgage of $1450

Another piece of advice people. If you do attend the workshop in December, Naca will tell you to hurry up to signup for membership so that you can get an appointment. The truth is that you will not get an appointment for December. Naca will charge you a membership fee for December and another for the next yr during ur intake session e.g if it is January.

I had a young lady with bad spending habits and she started crying after the 4th month because she would save and then spend the money even when I advised her that her ending balance needs to increase by $1000.00 month as she wanted a 2k month mtg payment and her rent was 1k month. she asked for another counselor and the same thing happened.....she dropped out and got a conventional loan and was gifted the down payment by a family member

Hey there, first thank u so much for these videos it’s been soooo helpful and informative. I do have a question I’m hoping you can help me with. I live in low income housing have been here for 3 years my apartment complex is HUD owned but my partner and I share expenses he pays our rent with his savings account and I pay all of our other bills with my checking I make more than he does And bring in more income but he doesn’t get much money so he withdraws his entire check and we pay our rent with money orders so the savings bank book will not match up with the total in rent? We’ve been here 3 years never been late or missed a payment. This is the only thing I can see holding us up. So can my apartment property manager write out a rental ledger to verify our rental payments and we can write LOE’s for our prior rental payments and continuing forward just pay our rent through my checking account? I don’t want this to push us back we are so ready to do this. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hello! Any advice for me? My situation is that I am a remote worker for a GA medical office. I am permanently remote and my husband is self employed (remodeling construction). We are located in GA wanting to move to TN closer to family. Are we able to start the process now? Do we need to move to TN before starting? Any MC recommendations in TN?

So if I’m paying of rent now 1500 because it has gone up by 100 every renewal contract (yearly) but I want to spend no more than 1100 for a mortgage, I wouldn’t need the payment shock that’s my understanding, I want to be completely comfortable paying my mortgage payment and homeowners insurance. I’m in Margate, Florida.

This has not been my experience with NACA. I'm in a big city, it takes 3 months to get a counseling interview.

Can you help me! I’ve been at this for almost a year I started in July 2020 I’ve had all my stuff I got canceled online meeting several times I had to go through different counselors. I have a good counselor now I’m at the point where I should get approved. I mean how long does it take to get approved I’ve been waiting for almost a month and I have all my paperwork in.

Gm im going to start the process in February of next year but i wanted to ask you should i pay off my 2 accts thats in collections. One of the items will be 2 years on my acct in march should i pay it off now or wait until i see my mortgage counselor to discuss it

The issue for me is having the checking account statement be the same or more each month. Because money is coming and going its more flexible. The savings is always growing. But the checking account can he different each month. Are their any tips for this?

Nahhhh...Actually, it is not a rumor. The truth is that no one gets qualified during the intake session. This is just a gimmick. You guys need to give people better expectations.

Does NACA help with new construction?

Can you get me in and out? I have all of the required documents and funds. I even did a 3 month payment shock. I was supposed to have my Acheive the Dream Event on 4/17/2021, but right when I got to number 29 in the queue someone sabotaged me by deleting my information. I took screen shots of when I was monitoring my queue and the notifications I received both via email and via text. Could you please help since I had to wait a little over 2 months just to attend this event? I am more than ready to be a home owner.
