Naruhaya played defence for the sake of the team. He was ranked higher than Isagi and probably put in work back on Team Z but they obviously can’t give every character screen time. I really hope we get this kind of moment for characters like Raichi n Iemon, I really wanna see what they can truly do.

The thing is naruhaya was trash talking isagi as a solo player , not a team player He knows as a team player isagi is waay above him but as an indicidual he feels like he is better than isagi

You forgot that the reason why Naruhaya didn't made any goal was because the team needed defenders and goal keepers. And his ranking was higher than Isagi. He is spitting facts, they are the same type right now.

Lax, I know you like the fly-guys like Nagi and Barou and the like, but before you label Naru as a layabout in those prior “team” games, not everyone was playing striker in those games, and if it wasn’t for players like Raizu and Naru playing balls out defense that team wouldn’t have gotten to that second selection level! Moreover, Naru wasn’t wrong when he said a lot of the time, the stronger players did “big time” Isagi up more than he deserved it! And Isagi doesn’t know what Naru is capable of and why Naru was ranked higher than him originally! P.S. “Dip On His Chip!” That’s a new one! Ha! Ha! Can’t wait for Saturday to get here!

@@phdinfootsies2107 Not at all, They had all the chances against team Y, when they put that strategy of making everyone strike. When it was Naruhaya's turn, he successfully passed behing the Team Y defences but Isagi failed to give him the ball. after that match everyone moved according to their positions and only the people upfront cold score and Naruhara, The monk and Bakugo were only in defence.

yeah what you said about isagi and nagi as players who are perfecting their weapons was spot on. Nagi was able to do it faster simply because his weapon is moer straight forward than isagis weapon. the nagi and isagi duo are insane tho yall aint ready

Dude, taking a guess here and saying that Naruhaya knows that he can't beat Isagi and said all that to get in his head. And it worked. So I can't be mad at him. He found a weakness, which seems to be how low Isagi's confidence is, and exploited it. You can't be mad at him for that.

I dont Naruhaya has done anything wrong. He spitting facts, and making the best choice that will suit him. He tone isn't even disrespectful. He challenging Isagi cuz he thinks he has a chance. Both Isagi and him need to evolve as player in the one on one battle to progress. Whoever evolves first will end up on top.

For everyone who thinks about ''droping'' Blue Lock, Don't! This manga/Anime just gets better and better. Now my personal opinion, beware of little or bigger spoilers The thing with this anime is that MC, Isagi always ''launch upgrade'' as literally ''the last one of the bunch EVERY SINGLE TIME'' His ''improvements'' every single time are ''amazing'' but for me he somehow is ''lackluster'' if compared to the rest. I heard there is even a Saying that: What isagi can do, Rin can do Better and honestly, i don't blame them. Isagi in my opinion is cool Character, but his ''dunno how to call it, essence? The thing is, Isagi, in my opinion, which is sad for me, still is that ''Typical, stereotypical hard working, ''underleveled' main character, who goes further because the plotarmor protecc''. His only ''separating'' Quality is that he is not dumb hot-headed. Sure, his Ability in later chapters is ''insanely good'' but like ''standard main characters'' he just can't truly separate yourself from any other sports protagonist who is surrounded by people far beyond his level, but he obviously MUST overtakes them all quicker and quicker because plot demands it. Like with let's say Rin and Kaiser, not quite complete overthrow, but if you are ''updated'' to the latest chapters, you know. Sorry for my bad English, i have no one to talk with me in English and i don't usually write in this language. I am only reading in English.

Your english is totally fine man! As far as Isagi I pretty much agree. I like him dont get me wrong but I dont like how everybody is so much better than him physically/skill-wise. Especially now that theyve shown most peoples “stats”. The only thing he has is his mental/vision/IQ to give him the edge and I dont feel like that should be enough so it does feel like plot armor at times. But despite what the fanbase seems to think I dont think Isagi is better than Kaiser even after the latest chaps

I also don't like that Isagi physically or in terms of skills like Technique is literally the worst everytime without counting Absolute joke Characters like Igaguri(I don't know why he is still on Blue Lock xD) A lot of Players in the series have a High Soccer IQ, but they also have a special skill that is amazing and Isagi has his ''Meta Vision'' like Aoi from Ao ashi had his, they are literally copies of each Other beside Backstory, personalisty and position. Take Barou for Instance. In the beginning he is Absolute monster, then Isagi overthrow him ''because he is Main Character''. Now i remember that Barou went to Italy team, when they focused on Tactics, defense and physical play i think? And Barou always Lacked ''Tactical sense''. So in my opinion he should in the future against Germany absolutely Crush Everyone literały because ''He is the King'' xD. And Nagi, boi, nagi Just surpassed everyone with his newest insane goal. And they will get surpassed by Isagi Just because he is a Main Character. Like Literally Isagi is Another Aoi from Ao Ashi, Dreams about being Best Forward in the world when he lacks skills needed in that position and instead woud be amazing Offensive Midfielder

@@shadowdx2757 Let's be real, Isagi didn't shutdown both Reo and Nagi just because he's the main character. It's because their plays became predictable after Nagi's insane goal. Barou was right about Nagi, he scores one great goal and then disappears for the rest of the match. Like Isagi said, Nagi's creativity is child's play to him even Agi said that Reo helping Nagi will limit his creativity. Isagi took advantage of that info and predicted their whole play. Reo & Nagi needs to realize they limit each other. Yeah Isagi is like Aoi but I think the author still wants him to strive as a striker even if he's a potential good MF. Isagi's strengths lie in his self awareness, he admitted he doesn't have the physical stat so he's going to work on that. He just needs to up his physicals, create a new version of his direct shot plus metavision for him to be a top striker. At this point, he'd be a very good CAM tho.

@@ermika_kris6256 I mean, i agree with you. I Just never like when protagonist literally has '' one special ability'' and is mediocre at everything else. I know, people must see that Main struggles with everything because he must me relatable and Such, But for me this is stupid bullshit. Life isn't fair and when someone is Average Joe he has Little chance to Become something more, not only because he can't but because he doesn't want. In True World, if you want to Become someone, you must be crazy enough to turn your talents on amazing level to rise above the rest of Humanity. I Actually like characters who are strong from the very beginnin, but only if their koncept or Backstory support it. For jnstance, Ye Xiu from Kings Avatar novel. That guy literally is a ''God'' in his favorite game because A- He has insane amount of Talent B- He played many hours literally from the game launch. C- He studied the game. Or Ojo Masato from Burning Kabaddi. He has weak body because he were Born with it, but he has insane speed and understanding of the game and even more insane level of Technique With Blue lock i have a problem that it '' suppose'' discard concepts like Power or friendships but i don't see this entirely. Also i would like to see more underhanded, dirty Plays or trickery. And we got one time with Kuon and then only classical type of everything.
