One of the things a find quite complicated is AOVs or render passes and the way to use them when compositing them all together, its get a little bit confusing when and how to use certain passes, if you could explanied this would be a great way to bring our renders to the next level, great tutorial cheers!!

nice tips. thank you. I have a problem. When I set Maya to GPU in the render settings, the program often crashes or takes much longer than with CPU. I have a relatively good graphics card. It should be faster than the processor in rendering. What could be the reason that Maya does not run for me with GPU?

Using Arnold to render all sorts of diamonds and glass sounds dubious in some cases. This engine is quite outdated and does not work well with caustics, which largely sell us the picture. I often render all sorts of bottles, Octane is the best assistant in this matter imo.
