Great Video James, I have thinking about this alot as a fan of Stone Roses, Oasis and John Squire and covered alot on my channel. I do feel Noel has a point, the songs part of the song, melodies that can be sung and remembered. I can't imagine the songs from Definitely Maybe being played any different and the solos being changed to something else could really piss a lot of people off. There might be a middle ground where John plays it to the record but has some moments in the sets to go off on one would work really well. I'm seeing him next year on the Tour so i'll be anxiously waiting! Love the channel and seeing you get the views you deserve James. Keep it up man!

I thought someone had asked LG (when the news about the collaboration just broke) if JS would be playing on the Definitely Maybe tour and Liam had replied 'Nope'. So if they are touring together it'll be a separate tour? I'd love to hear them do 'Love Me and Leave Me' as they wrote it. I know JS isn't a massive Seahorses fan it seems but it'd be great to hear this given it's roots.

Your videos are great and actually unlike any others I know of.

Doesnt even have to be more technical. Liveforever is a great example of something simple that works brilliantly. It might be easy to play but it is still epic. A few squire tweeks might flash it up a little but its a near impossible one to improve upon. But there are other noel solos (too many to mention) sometimes whole albums (ehem be here now) where they are lazy and devoid of feeling leaving the door open for squire to reinterpret them until his hearts content

Both noel and liam are still going strong when it comes to making music.

Come on Maaaaan, where your reaction / review / analysis of "Just Another Rainbow " ? Here's my thoughts, feel free to discuss 😊 To me the song (written by Squire) is all about his disappointment with the Roses Comeback post 2016.. becoming a windmill (windmill gong through the motions on a fixed point) of the Greatest hits etc. I hear it in the lyrics, But also in the Guitar Solo / instrumental ( it starts with a kind of 'Grand Build.Up / Opening", then a duel between light and heavy, which eventually fuses together, but then spins away again at the end, and ends with 7 very 'high pitched notes' (musical rainbow) and then Liam starts singing again. That instrumental is telling the story of the Roses 2011-2018 ish .(to my ears)...I really like the.way. its done. Also I think the rather odd choice of simply listing the Colours of the rainbow, then the next line is "We Crossed The Line" is makes me think Squire is saying that The Roses were kind of taking the mickey at the end, getting away with an almost satirically childish single (Awful One) and just playing the same old hits again and again in Football Stadiums.

Hey James, I’d love to hear your opinion on the Big ‘Un KZfaq documentary. It showcases a much darker side to Noel, and his willingness to cut ties and back stab old friends for fame and fortune. Seems as though he sold his soul to the industry and didn’t care who he had to hurt to get their.

For me Noel plays the best oasis solos. Yes their not as flashy but they always sound better to me when Noel's playing them. His hearts in them. Not always how many notes you can hit

Simply put, I'm expecting the Liam/John Squire record to be the album of the year. I'm very interested in hearing Squire's live interpretation of Oasis tracks. Liam is selling himself short thinking that he cannot do the Roses songs justice. He should just do a couple at least.
