Yeah, Liam has done far better than anyone could have expected. Beady Eye was terrible, so my hopes weren't high for a Liam Gallagher solo album. He did a great job three times. Passed the audition so to speak. I love Noel's Chasing Yesterday. Most accomplished songwriting he's done. Who Built the Moon is great too. But I never had any doubts that Noel could pull off a solo career. Liam was a different story. Making those professional sounding albums takes a lot of discipline and cooperation -- can't be too hungover or shaky from drugs, etc. Liam is a notorious party animal and drinker. Liam surprised me. I think that Noel was probably surprised too. These two are some of the only rock musicians of their type that are still making good music. Foo Fighters are dull as dirt, Bowie is gone, etc. Noel should try writing some more tunes for Liam's voice. Either way, their solo careers have yielded a bunch of good songs

Noel, you said it 2 minutes in about the Young Lads you'd inspired that haven't seen Oasis. You only live once, life is very short. Led Zeppelin proved they could roll back the years in 2007. Noel is always good value. Funny, smart, absolutely full of himself and knows how good he is... when you look across the current bland and insipid offerings from newer artists you realise how good we had it being teenagers in the 90s. Music, film, TV ,culture...it was all better

The best thing about the 90's were Euro 96. The fashion was terrible and still is, English bands were rubbish in comparison to today's. The technology available was ok but stone age compared to now. The only thing better back then was the quality of people and the standards they had.

Oasis was good, no doubt. But I never felt they were worthy of anyone’s top 10 bands of all time. Definitely one of the best bands of the 90s, but I’m not even sure they’d be in my top 10 90s bands. I also don’t much care for the arrogance. Liam’s arrogance is intolerable. At least Noel seems more reasonable and can make me laugh. I actually quite like Noel.

As an oasis fan. Seeing Simon so enamored with Noel it makes my heart melt and I’m a grown man. Just look at his face. Can’t even begin to tell you how jealous I am that he gets to sit there “I knew there was something wrong about you” never change Noel.

They will do a concert next year. Remember this. They won't talk about it now, Liam is still busy, he released an album last year. But they will definitely give some great shows in the future, as OASIS.

What fun would an Oasis tour be. I'm not very familiar with the band or what happened between the brothers but have lately taken an interest in their music. Honestly some of the work they've done apart is as good as most of what they did together but it would be quite a treat to hear what they would come up with as two much more mature and experienced musicians. I hope they do have a conversation and work out whatever differences they have. Brothers really should be together, forgiveness is a gift you give yourself and maybe it's time.

It seems it was Noel's recent wife that was the block to Liam. She hated him. And since they split up last year, Noel has started to warm to at least speaking to his brother again. Even if no Oasis re-union, life is too short they are brothers and used to be super close. Sort it out and pick up the phone lads and speak and hug!!

One thing about Simon no one can say isn't true, if he believes someone has achieved something decent whether in sport of life in general. No matter what his feelings are for that person on a personal level. He will always praise them for the decent thing they've done. You can tell he's full of respect for Noels talents. I've not seen him smile as much with any guest.

When Liam was in a middle of a divorce 2012/13 Liam asked Noel to reform the band to help him out financially but Noel refused. I think this is a bit of pay back by Liam, with Noel going through a divorce now, he's going to have to pay out half his fortune to his ex. Noel is going to have to dish out probably 10x what Liam paid, he's desperate.

He's got a pretty good song writing team.... His band for a lack of better explanation is an oasis clone... AND this groove is probably just started for him.... I feel he should continue to ignore Liam, so that all these "fans" who don't care about the music can frenetically stomp their feet in frustration about a reunion along with Liam. 100% yeah I remeber seeing them Im 97 it was epic almost religious. But by the late 00s it'd completely run out of steam. Slane 09 they were just finished you could tell. I do think having them back for a few one off gigs now would be pretty epic Liams voice is sounding pretty decent lately after a rough patch

Spot on. Kebworth 96 was great (though Prodigy blew them away in my opinion), then the next couple of times I saw them at old Wembley and at the then newly opened City Of Manchester Stadium they were very average. I saw them twice in 2009, at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and at the new Wembley (the day England drew the test match in Cardiff, with Panesar and Jimmy hanging on at the end) and the whole gig was awful. Wembley's a terrible venue, the support acts were naff, and Oasis didn't seem to want to be anywhere hear the stage or each other. I try to remember them for what they once were, back at the start. I try not to not look back in anger.

@@Garlicator wow. I thought I'd get abuse. Wasn't just me then. I saw them around 2000 in the UK. Was incredible. Saw them in Vancouver in 2005, was really fun.. but same location in 2009.. horrible. I guess they were tired doing US then having to come to Canada. Seems like was the 2009 concerts we all agree on.

Honestly I’d rather Noel and Liam just get on for their mums sake and also so their kids could meet each other. As far as the band goes as Noel has said before it would have to make sense, if they get back together and don’t make new music what’s the point leave us with the memory’s and nostalgia, however I like the rumoured plan of 4 nights at Knebworth. That way they aren’t going on a nostalgia tour as a has been band but they’re giving these fans crying out for a reunion what they’ve wanted for so long. All in all I think I just want the two of them to speak again life’s too short, I wish them them the best of luck in whatever way they wanna go x

I think the relationship between Noel and Liam isn't as sour as it's made to seem. I have got a feeling Noel has kept the "feud" going to make the Oasis return even more huge. Pretty unusual he changes his mind on a talk sport show after 14 years. I think he just wanted a solo career. He cracked on with NGHFB and enjoyed it. But now it's time. he wants a taste of the 90s again. A reunion was always in his mind. Just a theory.
