[Builder's view] FUJIMI Dino246GT is in progress.
Roughly paint the bottom of the chassis (engine). Masking is also easy, and weathering is used to prepare the whole.
The surface of the window has small scratches and stains, so I cleaned it with sandpaper and then glued it.
Notice: I made some goods. Sold at SUZURI.

フレームをはめた仕上がり状態からの逆算で塗装範囲を決定するとは合理的です。しかもそのウェザリングが素晴らしい、名人芸を観ている様です、色の調合も感性が冴えてますねぇ、英語でも質問されてましたけどテープカッターには興味を惹かれました。

Haha he nicked the brush for the eyeshadow from his wife. The man has a good use for all kind of things. Now with the windows in it,the kit is starting to look better and better.Can,t wait to see the end of this Masterbuild class.

I went to a friend’s house this weekend and he’s almost done restoring a 246 GT for the last year or so and I must say the exactitude of the details on your model are spot on compared to the real car. Just one difference though: the oil filer cap is on the other side (passenger side) of the engine… were there different motor liveries? The cockpit details are really mind blowing!

お疲れ様です。ブルタックは昔、エッチングパーツのハンダ付けするのに、パーツを固定させる為に使った方がいるんですが、コテの熱が伝わって凄く臭い煙が出たそうです。有毒かもしれませんので、真似しないようにしましょう。(^ ^) 昔の鋼管フレーム車両は、籠形状なのが幸いしてちゃんと塗ってあげれば、結構綺麗に見えますね。塗り分けの境界のトーンを落として、境目を曖昧にしてあげるとイイ感じになるようです。自分なら真っ黒に塗ってしまってから軽くシルバーを吹いて、後はドライブラシで明部を立ち上げる感じでしょうか。元々戦車モデラーなので、こういった汚し系の塗装は見入ってしまいます。イイ感じにエイジングできてますね。

クリアパーツの処理はこれしかないよなあ。クリアで傷を消しちゃえば良いじゃんと思ったけど、とにかくボディにパーツが収まらないディノのキット。クリアプラよりも柔らかいクリアカラーでは大きな傷を増やす可能性の方が大きい可能性はありますよねえ。フジミのエンスーに共通するのは、パーツ割は神なのにパーツの精度と表面処理が当時でも旧世代だったのが残念。それは今も生産されて大きくなっているのも困ったもんだ。

All that masking with rubber clay and tape of the engine compartent was a bit exaggerated and over-done for dramatic purposes. This build is a work of art, but the builder is not Leonardo DaVinci.

How do you clean the grease from your fingers from the model? I'm having such a hard time getting read of these marks / Google translate: どのようにモデルから指からグリースをきれいにするのですか?私はこれらのマークを読むのにとても苦労しています

At the end of your work, if you polish it with wax for a model, the grease from your hands will be removed together.

クリヤー塗装は長期間展示で塗膜が曇って台無しになった経験しか無かったりｗカーモデルではありませんが、空物の機体グロス仕上げで風防うぃ含めて最後にクリアかけてコンパウンドで磨いてみたいなことを数回やってきましたが、数年後に風防部が曇ってもれなく廃棄処分ｗ UVクリアなら曇らないんでしょうかね？

今回のエンジンルームの塗装はアートですねえ。そもそも物理的には無い奥行きへ、絵画の様なアプローチで繋げていく発想は、このフジミの模型設計に対して、製作者の最大限のリスペクトを感じます。

Great work made even better with the use of the word sebum. Taking me back to grade-school health class. Which would've been a lot more fun if they offered a model building course. At least we have you to fill the void. Thanks as always, and enjoy the rest of your week.
