What is the species of isopod in there?

scuds are great, wish i could keep them but they attack molting shrimp and shrimp eggs so its not the best idea keeping them together

Ive heard some people in the hobby report that hyallela azteca plays nice with shrimp. If you can find some of that specific species online, it may be worth finding a gallon jar to experiment with in a controlled and quarantined way. Isopods too of course, they play nice with everything.
