You noticed fast the movie, Trading places. But you have to know that it is a notorious italian meme. Every Christmas they project that movie on one of the main channel (always the same) on Christmas morning around 10/11 am. In recent years it is common to refer to that movie as "the" crhistmas movie more than a christmas carol. "It is not christmas in italy without trading places".

Horse Meatballs was a scandal in Sweden some time ago, where they sold meatballs with horsemeat in it. Yggdrasil is the Three of life in Norse Mysthology. Vittsjö are some furniture like a framed Shelves. Slattum is a bed (frame). Im danish, so the translation might be a bit off, but I think I got it right, if not then my swedish brothers please correct me.

I enjoyed watching your reaction here. It was funny watching you chuckle all the way through. I’ve seen a good few reactions to this song and they usually have the same theme. They always start off puzzled. Metalheads always look a bit disappointed and tense, thinking it’s gonna be religious shit, then smile when the punchline Odin is mentioned first time. Smile widens when he goes into the front room, and then it becomes a little bit of headbanging when the riff finally kicks in. From “master of IKEA” onwards, there’s usually a lot of chuckling, and often once it builds up to the big chorus at the end, there’s a bit of dancing and singing along. It’s a really good metal song by itself, even if we ignore the silliness! Nice reaction.

Watching this now cos I've just learned about this brilliant song. My first thought even before you started was to feel really sorry for you. This is not the song to react to if you have cracked or bruised ribs! Ouch. Good reaction though, glad you enjoyed it despite the pain!

Ollie, I just found out about these guys today through a live steam from some friends of mine. So I started researching them and reactions and whatnot and found out you reacted to them almost a year ago! This is fun but I don't think it would have much in the way of replay-ability for me. Yours is the third reaction I've seen for it and although musically it's done well, I don't think I could be bothered to watch it anymore. I looked into this band to see if they had any other releases because I found the music enjoyable, but as it turns out, all they do is parody songs. I think they could be a good band if they were more serious with their songs. Cheers!
