Being buddies with you on the NaNoWriMo site has actually kept me motivated to continue writing and keep my writing streak, as I keep checking your word count and trying to either match it or come close to it! I’m almost at 30,000 words and I’m very nervous about getting into a rut. I love the frequent updates on your project, I’ve missed your videos so much!

I'm now invested in your nanowrimo updates 🤣 hearing you talk abt your story makes me wish that I participated too haha (i literally forgot nanowrimo was even happening until yesterday) and honestly I might just write something for the heck of it cuz I feel so inspired listening to your vlogs

You should! You can always set your own goal, starting now, to write 1667 words every day from now until the end of November 30, and sent your own goal for whatever that would be. You'd just be starting the race a little closer to the finish line, but needing to keep up throughout the marathon, which is still plenty of challenge. Best of luck, and hope you end up writing, its always worth it.

honestly these videos are the only thing keeping me from not being sad about the fact i can't partake in nanowrimo this year because of the depressing stack of homework i have to do all the time lol

I would love to do a 10k day but splitting it over two days makes it actually sound achievable. I believe in you if you decide to give it a go! I’m about to enter the 30s and I’m STRUGGLING but I’m trying to be more involved in the community this year and it’s made a huge difference!

Oh wow 10k in a day I don't think I could ever do it! But I'm sure you could! What is the actual plot of your story and could you tell us a bit about your characters? It sounds fascinating I love me a floating island AND some dragons 🐉

hey caleb, what is your biggest challenge when creating a character from scratch? do you spend a lot of time writing out their traits or arc, or do you just wing it (dragon joke for you) and see what happens as you write? thanks for your vlogs!!
