I'm bummed that she lost, but super happy to see her feel happy even though she lost. I could tell from the match as it went on that if it went to the tie break, Anisimova would win as she was more consistent and was returning better. Naomi played great but Anisimova was just too good toward the end. Also seems to me that Naomi is mentally healthy. Her attitude in the court and even during this Press conference is very positive even with a tough loss. Her being mentally strong and healthy will definitely help this season.

Im honestly so so proud of Naomi. She fought her heart out in the match and in this tournament. Has matured and i see the fire in her again. Keep going Naomi thanks for a fantastic match always amazing to see ur tennis. Congrats Amanda on the win, well deserved.

So happy to hear her speak so maturely and accept responsibility for her loss. As she said, it was her decision. Last year, she saved match points to win her match and the tournament. This time Anisimova saved match points to win and happy for both of them in all honesty

I'm a bit sad that Osaka was eliminated, but she's comfortable instead of being scared in front of the media

Happy to see her making a comeback! Yeah she lost the match but I’m really happy of how she handled the situation. We can definitely see she was having a mental breakdown mid rallies but then tried so hard to calm herself down and put a smile on after. Didn’t throw rackets, didn’t shout to the player box. Really just motivated herself. I thought both of them played brilliantly honestly. Congratulations to Amanda and all the best to Naomi 🤍 keep up the good spirit!

In my view....Osaka can do no wrong. Even if opposition comes on and gains more points....Osaka is a Queen. I'm a fan all the time. Continued success Osaka. You are so all around Beautiful!

Her introspection, examination of her own game and her bravery to share it is so encouraging and helpful to recreational players and likely to high level players and pros. I wish all pro tennis players would have interviews that are this thoughtful!!

She's maturing and I'm so happy to see it. At the end of the day it's a tennis match and it just wasn't her day. Go back to the drawing board and improve. This makes you a better player in the long run.

Naomi is such a rare spirit that is pure and authentic. I think she is a wonderful example of what humanity should strive to be like. Her genuine nature is refreshing.
