Such matches help u to grow when u dont face typical opponent. U have to adjust , make changes and figure it out. That is sign of top player. I m happy she didn't throw racquets and got frustrated. Instead she got rid off her demons n stayed focused. A good match before second week and happy there is no post slam slump. Consistency is key. If she keeps making second week she will win her 2nd slam soon

it's interesting that she began to come back after she laughed at herself. i think that helped her relax. Naomi's weakness is she takes the match on court very seriously and she is used to fast starts,. when she starts out slow, she gets frustrated quickly and her energy goes down, like she fades off. she's like a first round KO artist in boxing who usually dominates to win, and has trouble with grind-out, "ugly" matches. the more matches like this she wins, the more she'll grow as a player, because she'll learn to enjoy the grind-out game and get used to winning a match that she doesn't dominate from the start.
