Most underrated RB in NFL history. I saw him as freshman at Washington, unbelievable talent. The coaches said two steps he was at top speed.
@biggalaxy9102 Жыл бұрын
No he never weighed that much. He was listed at 170 in HS & you could clearly see he was about 160 & in college he was still listed at 170 through his whole College career. When we was in the pros he was listed at 185 & he looked like he was about that. More like 180 but it doesn't matter he was simply that good. One of my favorite RBs of all time. He was as good as any of the greats of all time. He just didn't play long enough to be considered one of them for this reason. But if you look at his YPC 4.90 & this highlight, you see why he was as good as the many greats. Also look at his longest runs for the year stats, most of then are 70+ yards every single year. It also helps that he ran a 10.39 100 meters. That's extremely fast for football & his acceleration and quickness was off the chart with outstanding cut on a dime ability. He also jumped 24 feet in the long jump in HS. That's incredible ability. 24 feet in the long jump in HS is not normal & this tells you the kind of athlete he truly was. It's borderline world class jumping in track & field.

I was a HUGE fan of this guy. He had everything you could want in a RB. I was at the Falcons game, when he broke off those two, long TDs. Also, that was Jeff George's first game at the Georgia Dome, since he went to the Raiders. They booed him, before each snap. After they won, he did a victory walk around the stands.

You seem to make highlights of all my favorite old players. Nice work again. Thanks
@leomarquez20595 жыл бұрын
Played in 91 games, only started in 46 yet somehow when you watch his highlights nothing makes sense. This guy probably had more big play runs than people who played 3 times as much. Seems like play after play he's breaking off 50+, its crazy what he might have done had he stayed in the game. Remember he retired right when the Raiders were on the way up, like Bo, another we will never know.
@rhey814 жыл бұрын
Can't relate him to Bo. Bo retired due to injury, he retired by choice.. But yea TY for this comment.. His highlight reel is insane and unheard of for a guy who wasn't even the main ball carrier for those Raider teams..
@leomarquez20594 жыл бұрын
@@rhey81 Agree, I remember when he was drafted someone on ESPN made comment about him benching 400lb which sounded ridiculous for his frame. Then a football card with him shirtless came out, that was even more ridiculous! I collect some of his rarest cards, and believe it or not, the prices are steep considering his career was so short, by choice of course..
@honestojavier7 жыл бұрын
Quick and super fast!
@rhey814 жыл бұрын
Look at how big this highlight reel of him is and he wasn't even a full time RB getting 20 carrier again, he was a 10-15 guy and he had a short career by choice... So underrated and underappreciated..

@fluid_thoughts27827 жыл бұрын
THE REAL JUNE DAWG there are rumors that Bo ran a 4.1 40 yard dash. I don't know how true that is, but you can see in his highlights that he is blazing faster than Napoleon. Napoleon was fast, but you can see he got caught from behind a lot. Bo hardly ever got caught from behind. of course, Bo did run over people too.

IF only we had a decent defense that year with Jeff George at QB. The offense was insane, George was the best QB in yards and TDs. Kaufman I believe had his best season rushing, Jett had 1k yards and 12 TDs and the team finished 4-12....

Probably one of closest comparisons to Barry Sanders I can think of. I’d say he had 1/4 th his shiftiness in terms of usage but when he did I can’t think of anyone besides Barry and maybe Marshall Faulk who was better.
@eddiewiggles93983 жыл бұрын
Kaufman and Sanders would both lead the League in 60+ yard runs every Season basically by a large margin over whoever was #3 in that stat. The comparison goes beyond running style (in some ways Kaufman was better because more decisive runner so less Tackles for a loss in the Backfield compared to Barry Sanders).

@ianroche58073 жыл бұрын
Nonsense, he hit the holes. His numbers are path dependent on two things. When the raiders were not playing from behind he got the carries. New coach came in and with a new philosophy spit the carries with another running back. Like Dorsett and walker. Limited opportunity
