This episode is an instant classic. All the hallmarks of a good Clash, punts, big plays, deals gone wrong, revenge/team up arcs... Bravo. The writers really know how to cap off a season.

That game was so good! There was interaction and combat, and synergies, and politics. Basically peak commander. Also, Adriano's deck was so cool! It's neat to see an ability that reads as pretty weak have a synergistic deck built around it.

Such a huge ending. Very fitting to Phill: Gets a bunch of early mana, gets focused; and the salute for self finishing... That's an accomplishment.

I appreciate that nearly an hour in the prowess token deck has yet to make a single token while every other player has made several.

cool I built an ashnod deck when she was released and she stomps. will be fun to see how she performs here since I never see anyone else play her

Phil hard-flexing being a threat with jack and shit in hand whilst Crim is building up a pile of large Flying creatures is kind of great. Later, Crim and Tomer going bonkers over Phil still being alive, while they should *know* that Phil has jack and shit in hand? What a mess of a game. Lovely.

Phill to me felt like that character that joins the crew on a later arc that you don't like at the beggining for disrupting the harmony and energy you're used to, but when he dies you feel horrible since a part of what you love has just disappeared. You will be missed, buddy!

Phil and Crim are opposite sides of the same coin. They will unapologetically run their strategies, regardless of who complains and how "boring" other people might find it. Crim just likes control, and Phil likes big broken green stuff. It's beautiful

@tomer I have a similar deck, so fun! I strongly recommend idyllic tutor because jeskai ascendancy is just the best card ever, and sorc class too. If you do that, manlands become very very good, even celestial collanade activation can lead to generating mana on pop off turns. To Arms! becomes really good. Sevinne' reclamation is gas, and Sram's expertise plays extremely well, suprisingly! If you wanna go super spicy on it...Noyan Dar is hilarous with jeskai ascendancy

Phil have you ever considered Patron of the Orochi as a commander for mono green burn? It’s a good spellslinger/control deck (untaps lands on each players turns) and great for x spells like hurricane or storm

three visits was actually mana positive on phil's last play, the forest comes untapped, makes 2 mana and a treasure. Still 1 mana short, if phill attacked before hurricane he could've tied the game though

At 1:20:42 Phil could have activated Nissa, played a forest and cast Terastadon blowing up Crim's 3 black mana producing lands as revenge for killing him, because his death was already written in stone when he drew a land. It would have been so glorious. Crim would have been crippled and it wouldn't even have been kingmaking because there was still all 3 players at healthy life totals.

We all know that magic players love their cycles, right? And magic players also love arguing about which color is best? Well I propose we solve that question once and for all with CYLCE WEEK: where each player chooses a single color and builds a deck by shoving as MANY examples of that color's share of a cycle in there. I'm talking the M10 titan cycle, the Commander 2013 tempt cycle, heck go ALL the way back to alpha and put in the boon cycle!

Tomer is like "How could Phil survive" while Tomer had multiple chances to kill Phil, the opponent with the biggest board. But Tomer decided to mess with other people to make himself the obvious archenemy while not backing up his position (on board especially) Feels more like a misplay imo But very fun game!! Loved it!
