Little Targetoesss They were literally together for 1 season and it just didn’t work, she went straight back to Dan. I don’t understand the hate towards Dan, what did he do that was so bad that everyone else didn’t do? Because he was gossip girl, or because he kinda treated Serena like shit in season 6? I’m sure Serena treated Dan like shit all through season 4, and I’m sure everyone sent tips in to gossip girl. And I don’t understand how Nate and Serena were meant to be together. He didn’t trust her at all. In season 4 when Serena was drugged Dan believed in her when Nate said “this is the way she worms herself into our lives”. Get outta here, Nate liked the thought of Serena. Dan loved Serena.

He just overall pissed me off like that one time after their breakup when she saw her kissing Nate he was like "of course 🙄" when he'd literally been making out with loads of girls wtf

Karan Kaul Dan treated Serena like crap and I’m defending Nate. He loved Serena deeply plus he was kind to everyone and had a great integrity, he was never petty enough to send anything to gossip girl, something that hurt Serena a lot which turned out to be Dan. He was a kind person with integrity whenever there was a gossip girl scandal he was there to help and yes the start of their romantic-ish relationship started off as him cheating on Blair but after that he confessed his love to Serena at a masked party showing he had confidence, and Dan never did anything like that, and Dan only saw things in black and white, plus he was super judging which is definitely a bad trait when your with someone like Serena, a girl with a lot of baggage and he never understood anything, he just went on about “there world” at least Nate was an understanding person who loved Serena and yes there relationship was set off by him cheating on Blair which probably hurt her but she ended up with Chuck. No destiny did not bring Blair and Chuck together it’s that they kept choosing each other and they were endgame. So Nate cheating was actually the start of many huge things aka the Nate and Dan love triangle, to the Chuck and Blair obstacle which was super romantic.

There’s actually plenty of reasons, but the most simple is, even when they were together, she still ran back to Dan. She never loved him as she did Dan and that was shown at the end of season 3 and the beginning of season 4. It was always Dan.

They definitely should’ve been endgame, but in a sense Serena didn’t deserve Nate. Nate was so kind and loving, a bit of a womanizer, but he always gave his all. He never once sent a tip into gossip girl and did anything for the ones he loved. He even took the blame for many things he didn’t do, such as breaking into the school pool. He did it in a heartbeat. Serena always took him for granted and didn’t realize that he always loved her. She thought that she could just go back to him when she had nobody else. :( I wish Nate could’ve got his happy ending.

This video has been on a repeat! I love this couple, my heart can’t take it. They should have been end game. Oceana Crespo no they shouldn’t of as Serena never loved Nate as much as Dan. Nate deserved so much more he was Serena’s passive doormat. Serena said to Nate she is sorry for taking him for granted assuming he’ll always be around and she will not do it again. However season 4 she returns thinking Nate and Dan will be their for her but Serena already knew who she was going to pick and it was dan. S5:E13 “G.G” Blair “I saw how you were looking at him. Nate always had the same look in his eyes whenever you would walk by. Like he was starving and you were a tasting menu.” Blair “tell him already before you mess everything up like last year WHEN YOU PRETENDED THERE WAS A CHOICE. When even GOSSIP GIRL knew there wasn’t.”
