When I was in high school I was so sad about Taco Bell taking away the chili cheese burrito I decided one Saturday to write a letter to taco bell and drop it off at their company HQ which happened to be in the town next to mine. The office was closed but the security guard took my letter, photo copied it, and taped it to the CEO and CMO's computer monitors for when they got to the office that Monday morning. It wasn't a week later that only my Costa Mesa taco bell location had the burrito back, and I was able to enjoy it for the next three years before they took it out for good. I signed my letter "local sports hero" under my name.

That used to be all I got from taco bell. When they took it off the menu I didn't go back to taco bell for years. I still only go now maybe 2 or 3 times a year. It was so popular at one point there was a website a guy created that showed which taco bells still stood it and which ones didn't. I think it's still there but last time I looked it hadn't been updated for a while. I don't see how they haven't bought it back. It has to be one of the most asked for discontinued items in all of fast food. If the mcrib can come back every few months, the chili cheese burrito should be back permanently!!!

The day before this episode aired I was showing a friend the conspiracy theories episode and verbally said “I wish they would bring Dusty on all the time.” Lo and behold, this was announced and I quickly texted my fellow folks about it. Nate and Dusty are my two favorite comedians, I’ve had the pleasure to see you both in Springfield Mo. Thank you all for the lighthearted, yet very funny comedy.

Brian's airport story reminds me of something that happened to me in the airport in Dubai. Had a 12 hour layover through the night and was looking for somewhere to sleep. I crawled in a kids play structure, because the floor of it was foam and comfy, and quickly fell asleep. I woke up uncomfortably close to a red headed woman, who apearantly snuck in after I fell asleep and wanted a cuddle. I crawled out to find my 2 buddies giggling. To this day they like to remind my wife about the lady I slept with at the airport in Dubai on the way back from a missions trip to Africa.

Love the addition of Dusty! But I hope you’ll still have guests come on every so often because those are always my favorite “sodes”. My home is on the old camp grounds where the Donnor party settled in Reno prior to their journey over the Sierra mountains. The route they took was along the Truckee River as it was a guide through the mountains. Today we know this route as I-80. I will email some photos of the beautful Lake Tahoe from the top of mount Pluto. As a radio technician, I often went to this site for maintenance on public safety systems. Happy to have you with us folks, Dusty! Great addition to the family.

Hey guys, I have always thought that it takes a lot of bravery and determination to be a comedian. To be willing to accept the fact that you are going to be bad, that you will fail. That you will improve and still fail. It blows my mind that anyone does it. As someone who likes to be clever and make their friends laugh, I felt like I could be good at it if I could get over these fears. However, listening to this podcast and the insights provided by the three of you I see that comedy is an easy thing to underestimate. Thank you for putting in the time to hone your craft and provide us with entertainment and lasting memories. I went and watched some of Bummer's comedy and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the increased energy he has in front of an audience. I haven't watched any of Aaron's yet so..."Nice jacket, Aaron".

Congratulations on the 100th episode! And it's great to see that Dusty is sticking around. 🙂 Nate, we have tickets to see you for the first time live in Reno on the 25th of June and I couldn't ask for a better event to look forward to. A quick comment about candy rationing: When I was younger, my favorite candy bar was Butterfinger and my preferred method of consumption was to freeze it, nimble off the entire bottom edge of chocolate, then eat away the chocolate covering, which would leave me with the peanut butter bar exposed and a base layer of chocolate. At this point I would often put it back in the freezer and finish it off on another occasion.

I didn't know it was a "poor" thing, although, we didn't have much money, so that tracks, (I thought it was more about my neurotic tendencies), but I ALSO eat my Reese's peanut butter cups that way. Even today. I've never heard of anyone else doing this. They used o have commercials highlighting the different ways people eat theirs and I never saw mine. I eat the ridged chocolate edges. Then, I peeled the chocolate off the top and bottom. Then, I ball the peanut butter up and take tiny bites out of that until it's gone. So, either I learned very early to savor things slowly or we were more broke than I realized. Keep up the amazing work. Highlight of my week , by far!

For Dusty not being able to grow crops the 2nd year... Research crop rotation... Crops will take all the nutrition out of the soil so you must plant something else in that area to replenish soil nutrients. Example.... After growing tomatoes you must next plant a root vegetable in that spot (Carrots, radish, onion) for the next cycle. #TheMoreYouKnow #DCA

My husband calls skunks “pole-cats”. When I was a teenager, the empty field was developed. Skunks came to live under our house. Animal control set out traps. We caught several. The instructions were to call them back out and they would shoot it. Sometimes they were able to shoot them before they sprayed, sometimes not! This culminated on Thanksgiving Day. We had to move our lunch to my grandparents house… cuz the last one sprayed! 🤣🤣🤣

Greetings Nate & Crew! We went and saw your show on May 21 at the Mt. Baker Theater in Bellingham, WA and had a great time. My daughter was laughing so hard she had go find a tissue to wipe her tears off! Nate did a fantastic job and the audience clearly loved him, but the only suggestion I would make is that his piece about the golf game might not have landed as well with the ladies as it did with the men. I work for an HOA with a golf course designed by Ted Robinson. Our golf course has hosted some major Northwest golf tournaments including a Washington State Open. Still...I don't get the game. :) But please do come back and see us again! Thank you!

To save other folks some panicked Googling, I have no idea how Aaron came up with “they expect the Yellowstone Supervolcano to erupt this year.” According to the USGS, a supereruption “could happen sometime in the next 100,000 years, if another ever happens at all.” I felt like I was rewatching Mick Movicki trying to guess how many babies are born per minute. Gents, keep up the good work on these but maybe don’t cancel your shows at the Looney Bins just yet.

One of my favorite Christmas memories is finding a plastic vial full of authentic Mt. Saint Helens volcanic ash in my Christmas stocking. My parents had seen an add of someone selling ash from the 1980 eruption, and decided it would make a great stocking stuffer for my brother and me. I have no way to know if it was really ash from the volcano or just someone who figured out how to get paid for shoveling the ash out of their fireplace. Either way, I still remember that Christmas morning nearly 42 years ago.

Huge fan of the "pod" and been a fan of Nate at least ten years. Excited to hear Nate is going to announce a Phoenix show, but why not stop by Tucson while you're at it. There is probably a theater somewhere here (to be honest I have no clue what constitutes a theatre or how to spell it) but I would love to meet some Tucson folks.

Aaron you are all alone with “Sodes” but your clap back of “what do you want me to call em, programs?” Was SO money.

Comment on Biscuit’s mom’s term for skunk, as we called then polecats when I was a young girl: The term “polecat” comes from a close relative found in Eurasia. ... It is an old French word meaning chicken- “poule.” So in essence, polecat means “the cat that eats chickens.” Random: You guys talk a lot about food. Have any of you ever eaten at Barbara’s Home Cookin’ in Franklin, TN? One of our favorite places when we visit from Indiana. Love the podcast!!

The moment Nate said he was in Tahoe this weekend I instantly messaged everyone excited that my favorite comedian was there! Then instantly so sad that I didn’t run into him. It was my first time there and my bachelorette so it would have been amazing to see him!

What better way to celebrate my anniversary than with the 100th episode of my favorite podcast? And the topic is eschatology nonetheless. Keep up the good work folks! Dusty, how far can you throw a football?

100 Episodes in and now I've "contributed" over 100 comments that are mostly spelling and grammar error free. I'm the Joe DiMaggio of Nateland. The good people at Heinz should have contacted me 43 episodes ago! I'll go proofread this now.

I cant believe we made it to 100! Seriously what an amazing feat for an educational podcast. You've had me sink, line and hooker since day 1 And now Dusty is a regular! LETS GO! I've listened enough to where I casually refered to Nate as my good friend the other day when I was talking about comedy specials with a coworker and he was so impressd I knew a professional comedian. Here's to 100 more! Also please bring back Greg Warren!
