guys, I worked as an intern at L&T for this runway (I'm a Civil Engineer!). Everything is good, but I can say somethings disappointed me very much... LABOURERS. Indian govt spent so many crores to empower Nepali labours! Why the fuck man?!! They could have bought atleast North INDIAN Labours, majority of the labours over there wer Nepalis!!! They sent much of their earnings back to Nepal. It's like as if we didn't had unemployed youths!! Not just here, even in case Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya, many of the workers were foreigners (Nepalis)

@@shrinivaspandurangi4 It is similar to, the way the tech worker migrate to US and send money to India. It is universal. The American laborers are costly when compared to Indians. Indian laborers are costly when compared to Nepali's. Once the Nepal GDP grows, they will become costly too. By the time Laborers become costly, we would have automation and machines to build the building when compared to humans. We have to go with the flow.

Couldn't be more proud as India represents itself at the World's most beautiful Airport and Educational Institution categories by Prix Versailles with Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, and School of Planning & Architecture, Vijayawada. It makes me happy to see South India receiving its second airport with parallel runway system after Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Been to this terminal numerous times ever since it opened and it has been an experience in itself. Every time i visit this terminal i am in awe of it. The golden vibe it has got, the gardens its just awesome. You would really want to keep exploring this terminal more than taking the flight lol. Great job by the engineers and the management kudos to you all and thanks to National Geographic channel for covering this marvel.

All expertise are from SOM USA, bamboo from MOSO China, and labourers are from nepal, only India construction team involved is L&T for machines and equipment..

I have been to this terminal in 2023 . You can see hanging trees and plants🌲 when you look up the ceiling which is decorated with bamboo wood and there are lot of sitting areas around the trees which is placed inside the airport

Bengaluru T2 is a brilliantly designed airport no doubt. I have seen it being built from scratch. However one tiny bit of a complaint I have in T2 is that need some fast food chains in case someone is hungry and in a hurry as well. Though I am sure this will come up soon and in another 3 years time its gonna be one of world's beautifully designed airports

I don’t even care which state this airport is in. The fact that so many people worked so hard for so many years, is awe inspiring. The sheer amount of hard work and planning that went behind, making this airport. I wonder why more people are not appreciating and reflecting on this, instead of talking about states and politics here

Bangaluru airport is very well run airport.. Only problem is reaching the airport.. The hebbal traffic block always gave me scares.. Successive governments gave no thought to solving this problem.. Hope the metro which proposed will be constructed soon. Bangalore already lost crucial workhours due snail pace of building namma metro

Land owner and Chairman of KIA is Karnataka Govt.. and biggest promoter and management is Fairfax with 54% and KIADB which is Karnataka Govt is having 13% share. What is the role of Union Govt here????

@@oxy2986This airport doesn't come under Central Government. AAI is having just 13% stake. Since it's Greenfield Airport, still KA government is owner of KIA and owns land unlike other AAI airports. Fairfax is major shareholder.

Bangalore Airport and the team behind it are great. But the transportation support from the local government and the city corporation is so poor, they some how discourage efficient running of trains from the city to the airport. Currently airport trains are for name sake, and not connected to all the major parts of the city .

I was just sharing information unlike you stupid ppl who keep comparing. It was also south india's first F code compliant airport. World's Largest Aircraft An225 choose to land in Hyd 7 years ago. 7 years ago where was your airport man. Awards are useless. Mainly people should enjoy using it. @@adarsh.m1999 Hyd was one of the best airports even when your airport t2 didn't start construction. It was india's first greenfield airport and south India's first F code compliant airport. It has received several international awards beating international airports. An225 world's largest aircraft landed here 7 years ago. Where was your state airport at that time? We don't like to brag about it. While I was just sharing some information which was wrong in video, people like you will keep comparing states and create fake happiness. Grow up kid and enjoy spending hours in traffic and half price of your flight ticket to reach airport. I never mean to demean any state. Even I love blr airport but people like you can’t take facts can they
