Nathan For You is a show filled with romance.
About Nathan For You:
Nathan Fielder is a business advisor who implements strategies that no traditional consultant would dare attempt. Whether it's creating a coffee shop called Dumb Starbucks, inventing a poo-flavored yogurt or staging an elaborate video where a pig saves a goat, no idea is too daring. And while Nathan's efforts may not always succeed, they always have big results. This is Nathan For You.

I love Nathan constantly asking things like “Do you want to hold *my* hand” and “Do you want to turn the cameras off?” like the character of Nathan is begging her to make this real, not for a TV show. He told Me it was You who made it awkward. And he knew you would come here and make a big deal, so he admitted that yes, , in that way, he was reserved- because being famous, you learn to put up your defenses because people always want to speculate and gossip and he could tell that that’s who you were and I guess he was right all along. But he doesn’t blame you, he knows normal people are flawed and different than “ big shot , globe trotting Hollywood stars” ( that’s how he kept describing himself) it turns out that he wasn’t on the basketball team, “t he Globetrotters” it means he travels around the world because he’s part of the elite jet set. To this day, I don't know what was really going on with the Macy story. They both play characters as their profession individually, then when they are together they try to play along with each other, while being aware that the other person knows they are acting, but they won't drop the act until the other one drops their act first? Or it's ultimately scripted and all those layers are misdirection?

Yes! Everything with Macy is fascinating for this reason. In a way, I think that this is the "truest" interaction that Nathan has on the entire show, in that both participants are fully in on the deception and the artifice, and that both participants are practiced in this kind of deception. What makes it even more interesting is that, I believe, Macy is the only one that ever mentions other episodes that Nathan has done, at least that we saw in the final cut. So she breaks through the 4th wall more than anyone else.

Idk what happened with the escort but she was such a sweetheart and genuinely seemed to like Nathan but kept herself guarded against his more cruel prank side. I hope something came of that whole thing if it was not fake. She seemed very genuine. If it was not real she did an amazing job.

@@andrewbecker9062 you must not want for much, then. I’ve never made $350 an hour in my life. I’ve never even made $30 an hour. Honestly it seems like the easiest job in the world to just giggle a lot and hang on a guy’s every word. In fact this may sound crazy to you, but I have to be polite and nice to people I don’t really like talking to and pretend they’re interesting when they’re not at least once a week, for $0 an hour.
