Ай бұрынHere we add diodes to replace the 6AL5 tube.
The stripe of the diode (diode cathode) goes to the cathode part of the tube.
I soldered the diodes in from the underneath.
Pretty busy socket down there for a puny 6AL5.

We are applying technology to the national receiver from 60 years in the future so I guess national did the best they could in 1958
