With respect to 4AM, I just want to point out Grimes has the song “4AM” that she wrote for the cyberpunk soundtrack and she performed it at The Game Awards. That’s such a cool tie in!

it seems this whole secret is a journey the people of night city undertake to discover the fact that they are characters in a game. so crazy.

Perhaps cyberpunk is to be treated as a literal world being created on our consoles and we're the watcher, the code could be some kind of allusion to us as a player or the nature of how we interact with the game, the game literally never ends in the sense that it sends you right back to before the ending when you're finished and you can start it all over at any time

The difference between 50 and 60 years is huge. 2013:- Johnny goes with the journalist, the nomad, and Rogue, accidentally kills/traps Alt Cunningham when he unplugs her. 2023:- He goes with Rogue, Spider, Shaitan, Blackhand and Militech soldiers to bomb the tower. 2077: Emails are sent. 60 years earlier rules out the tower bombing. 50 doesn't. That explains the update. Perhaps the mystery has something to do with how exactly she contacted him later on and why. Maybe the Lilith ritual Maelstrom did in the cyberpsycho gig could be related. And perhaps level -10 in the game is a nod to Mikoshi?

This is a very elaborate way to justify their Witcher 3 references in Cyberpunk 2077. Since Ciri has the capacity to travel through both time and space, yet only 'mastered' the capacity to travel through space, perhaps this is designed to wrap up how she figured out how to time-travel as well. All those sensors and laptops out in the boonies reminded me immediately of the polished crystals mages would utilize to communicate across vast distances.

The smallest statue is actually a ornament on V’s bookcase in the Glen apartment.

Ill be honest, I always thought FF06B5 was a reference to the 5th boss you defeat in Final Fantasy 6, an octopus. Since when I saw first saw the big statue I thought the golden pillars the statue stands on were its legs lol

I think we’ve been bamboozled by the old man, and his son, the fact Adam Smasher knew we were behind the glass watching speaks volumes.. then Takamura putting a bullet in big boys head- the cherry on top? Is the words spoken to Johnny before being thrown on a relic.. “there’s things far more frightening than death.” I think the entire thing is about the old man Arasaka, and trying to be immortal.. it was all a misdirection, we were setup from the beginning.. we aren’t important.. just a shell for the construct, and Johnny is there only due to his punishment being far worse.. by the hands of old man Arasaka, because of the act of terror committed that killed family, and other business people that were valuable.. but, in the end it’s only for an old man’s vanity of wanting to live forever.

After doing the corpo ending, I get what Gary is talking about when he yaps about Saburo Arasaka not being "gone from our world" and "resting in the family crypt" waiting for his "body rejuvenation" (I'm late to the party but I did not wanted to get Hanako's help in my previous runs).

As a writer and creative consultant that helped map the easter-egg of FF:06:B5 , I'm at the point where I don't think anyone is going to figure it out. Especially considering it references real life events and the real identities behind the name Satoshi Nakamoto. I'm tempted to give it away. Maybe if the Cyberpunk content creators wanted to setup an AMA on Reddit, I could attend and spill the deets.

I loved being in this investigation, I was one of the first people to find the secret hallway in AT3D. I also helped solve the DM + TU in the maze, it's simply initials of the devs that made the maze, take that as you wish.

Honestly, I think, there's two factions in the game. I call one the Misty-Regina faction, because I've only seen the globe statues associated with them. And then there's the Saka faction that has the sword statue.

Regarding the Polyhistor, I'm pausing the video at 1:05:39 just so I don't forget the idea I get the mystery is pretty heavily meta and might spam two different video games universes, but regarding its relationship to Cyberpunk specifically it seems like narratively this could be the doings of an AI. The deeper into the net you go the weirder it gets. Murphy got to see bartmoss go off the deep end and crash the net. This is super similar to Lovecraftian horror. In fact, Maximum Mike talks about an old friend (possibly Murphy) telling him about how the net is actually hell. Seeing as how Witcher is fantasy, and Cyberpunk's more supernatural stuff are usually tied in some way to the net, I wonder if the play here is that there's an AI that can see beyond the vale of our monitors, but can only interact with the universes of the witcher and cyberpunk.

I think it's kinda funny. A game that sort of delves into the theme of existentialism here they've seeminly dropped in some sort of secret that probably just had no meaning to begin with through the persistence of human 'cleverness' was given the meaning.

Is it just me, or are the symbols, poping up around the ouroboros at the start of the vision cutsceene at the coordinates, placed quite the same as the eye at Mistys? Maybe the sequence they pop up is related to the sequence the eye needs to be read? And the symbols themselves somehow corelate with the way you need to read it? Have no clue how would F F V Q B Z alter the way you read the eye... But it can't be a coincidence since the sequence appears on the symbol in the wraight dungeon as well.

There is a rogue Delamain cab which mentions something about "talking to someone from another world". He states that it means the bridge between AI and Humanity IIRC, but you could also take it in context of 'the watcher', maybe AIs are just more keyed into what's going on and that particular delamain cab figured it out. The is another cab that speaks exclusively in GLaDOS direct quotes from Portal 1 and Portal 2, which could be considered another world too, if it wasn't a game in the 2077 universe years ago. I think the hex code being an actual missing texture in text form is more then a stretch. Obviously not an engine thing, but had the developers meant that from the start, it would be a bit weird, as that is simply not how games work and they know that full well. Not to mention the code doesn't directly match the missing texture colour IIRC. I think that if it does allude to the missing texture colour, then it is an in universe version, where those more in the know about what is going on, who have perhaps seen such missing textures in real life (real to them anyway), and made a statue in awe of the realisation or in hopes of subtly leading certain ones to the truth.

Wait so is this really still left unsolved? I think the mystery is pointing to the path V should choose...which definitely points to V going with ALT....Your born anew as well as Johnny. And well you forgot to include the clue from a Delamain clone when you set them "free" during that mission. Hexagram 61 line 5...and that states.....the demand of the times prevail...to fix another's mistake without question or criticism is honorable. This message comes after setting them free so I think it's for V to set him/herself free. Polyhistor leaves, the monk leaves, and Gary is taken! And at the same time your fixing Johnny's mistake. Seeing as this mission was.there from the beginning and hasn't changed then the dev was always right! And for phantom liberty which is new, this might be the advice needed to complete that playthrough...which is to fix So MI's mistake! Taking this path also leads you to Mr Blue Eyes again! It s all connected and thats the point...This has to do with the blackwall! No doubt in my mind...I always thought the story to Cyberpunk was alil weak....Not in storytelling but In overall concept...you know for an action game! But that's when it hit me that this is a tragedy....V is going to die! This clue is helping you decide what you want to deal with and die on your terms...or ascend higher! (Going with ALT) and this is def just a sidestory in what is the world of cyberpunk...If there are a huge colony of humans living a simulation then that could be the story for the sequel! The Rouge AI behind the Blackwall takes control of that place controlled by the blue eyes...and well V comes to you to help save the world! And all the secrets of the world is revealed! 😂😂 just a theory that makes sense All in all there are still many clues to this and I think this just has to do with the major storyline going forward a clue that's like a foreshadow! I mean you still got Misty dreamcatcher...must be a way or secret way to interact with it...Seeing as polyhistor had dreams that might be a clue! But the color magenta is the clue in and of itself! The statue and the monks...it points to hinduism...Buddhism is the trick down the wrong path! Magenta is very significant in hindu! And represents the 8th Chakra! The soul star! Very fitting for a game with the term "soul killer"! This surrounds V's choice in the game! What will you do with your soul! And this clue hints at you choosing to ascend it! So this mix with Delamain message is both found in "vanilla" cyberpunk and hints to a choice! Magenta is to ascend with ALT and Hexagram61 line 5 is of course leaving your body to Johnny! So you ascend, fix someone mistake, and rebirth in one choice! No future Trust no one turn back! These are the choices you should avoid! And if you do it leaves you with just one ending! Fear the reaper! Remember this whole time your dying! Your literally running from the reaper the whole game! And well in truth V did die! V seeing stuff shows that they are not supposed to be there! and I believe was resurrected for a higher purpose! Maybe by a rouge AI or something else...Mr Blue eyes is def the watcher and he sees you...He's designed just like mr.smith...The blackwall might be the story going forward!

I kinda understand why the developers laughed about the mystery. I actually got the Demiurge by accident back around patch 1.3 time. I liked role playing a lot and I spent a lot of time at the protein farm exploring stuff looking for Johnny silverhands body. Eventually I ended up going to the badlands and I found the random couch. I stood on top of it and just hung out role-playing crouched I place. I lost interest and looked at my phone and music on my laptop then the animation where V collapses happened and I got the demiurge. I ended up trying to get it on another playthrough later but I completely forgot how I did it I just remembered goofing off on the couch I looked everywhere I got over it. Eventually it was linked with a obscure sub quest its so funny :)

1:21:36 I wonder if the newer content was planned for the original release but was cut. Maybe the '60 years' is a reference to a planned release year (2017) but after years of setbacks on just CP77, whatever that release year was referencing is now pushed to 2027 (50 years), and the note was simply updated once they realized the original text from writing this content years ago (even tho this content wasn't implemented) was still in that message. Perhaps further clues explaining the mystery will be resolved in a new game from CDPR in 2027? Witcher and Cyberpunk universes are linked, and CDPR has their own IP in development... It also feels like most of this new content was just to poke and meta-reference redditors and youtubers trying to solve this mystery.

Dude, Buddist monks, especially in Thailand and Cambodia, have been practicing the ancient art of tattooing for centuries. When my friend met a girl from Thailand and they fell in love, her parents forbid them to be married until he convirted to Buddhism. For three months he stayed at a temple and got a tattoo on his upper right shoulderblade from one of the monks after his conversation was complete and they where married that same day.

The references to Buddhism happen to appear as motifs in a lot of Cyberpunk media. Ghost in The Shell(the film at least I haven't read the manga) has been said to have been a big favorite for the Wachowskis and some of those influences made it into The Matrix, arguably speaking. It's a common thread since... Quite awhile I'm not sure who was the first to draw from Buddhist motifs first but it's been around, I guess it's only fitting they make homages to that in the game itself.

After watching this I realize I'm way to stupid to ever figure this mystery out. That being said, i've always thought that this game was heavily related to the Matrix. Like Night City being the first above ground city the survivors of Zion built after the events that concluded Matrix: Revolutions (ie. Johnny Silverhand blowing up Arasaka Tower) Johnny Silverhand's Engram is the remnants of Neo's conscious/soul digitized. The ones behind the scenes controlling the politicians could be some form of Agent Smith or the Architect trying to take control again. The Monks with no cybernetics could've been born in the real world like Tank & Dozer, while others with cybernetics were freed from the pods. Brain-dances are ways of tapping into the Matrix for pleasure, Like Mouse creating the "Lady in Red" program.

They probably had more planned but could not finish it so, they wrapped it up with a little meta commentary

Very intricate. But I really dislike that solving this requires going beyond the game, and into the other one. This breaks immersion. I wouldn't mind if the secret that was solvable within Cyberpunk alone eventually led to the other game, where we could learn more and get the bigger picture.

What if this glitch wasn't due to V slotting in the relic but connecting to Sandra dorsett? We get sick and have to see Vik the next day but what if he misses something? What if the ai's have been watching v since the beginning? And what happens after you visit Vik? You see the first bakeneko..

Lol its a bug. That was supposed to be a date clock that kept track of the in game date and like everything in cyberpunk it bugged tf out and the players lost it and the devs just ran with it lol. Thats why it was supposed to be easily solved at first because if the dev told everyone there was nothing to solve the only other option is bug boom instantly solved if he told the truth on the interview 😂

Perhaps this easter egg was intended to be something more at some point, but the message from the QR code during Polyhistor's section seems pretty pointed towards us - the player. It could be that the CP77 team got tired of it after some members of the community harassed the devs for more hints (such as Oddheader).

I loved this whole saga but was a bit disappointed when basically nothing got explained. I enjoy open ended stuff but here it really feels more like intentionally too vague, unexplained and unsatsfying. Maybe you guys don´t see it the same way and maybe CDPR is not done with it yet (there is new bit in latest patch). With Peralez quest I like how it teases and leave us speculating but this was years long community effort and there should be at least some resemlence of closure.

Personally I believe that initially the code was a bug but CD Projekt played into the rumors and constant badgering by the fans.

Theres a statue in one of the apartments forgot the name but its the one where you enter through a security gate go up the elevator once u enter the apt there are stairs on the left that lead to a bookcase and its there very visible and it has the code thats where i learned about the mystery

I don't know if the answered to is this. But Everything points to what is up ,is down. You as a player is the virus or demon. You make choices for a character that you have no feelings attached to. So there is only one reality, that reality exists of poles, + and -. and those poles are perceived. meaning everything is one, that is two opposites, and three that is perceiving it. Everything is perceiving everything, AOM. What you perceive with your eyes in this reality is a reflection of something else (materia), while in a game is a projection of colors, from a black wall or a screen. So the devs are saying that the game is another dimension then our own, where we can control things without any consequence to our self except that we are perceiving it, making it reality. Basically our reality might just be a game played by what we call gods, watchers, archons. Blue, knowledge and law, yellow, action and decision, red, body and passion, Violet, Imagination and spirit.

Oh god the truck you get being called the Demiurge. Thats the false god from gnosticism. The Real truth comes from Sophia or something. And more, that stuff is really complicated. I just recently watched a xenogears podcast by resonant arc that goes a bit deeper into gnosticism.

47:56 so I have to say this is sounding more and more like CD Red messing with the gamers trying to solve this “”puzzle”” maybe there was never an ending just a hook floating in the air with no line attached to it or maybe it was a mystery they planed to build on but the messed launch made it too unprofitable to make more than phantom liberty so the puzzle was shelved to be pulled out at a later date.
