PhDs are trained in an interdisciplinary manner to explore the complex structure of transient hydro-meteorological or geo-physical events. The graduate research school works together with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), Helmholtz Centre Potsdam German Research Centre for Geosciences GFZ, Freie Universität Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin.
