Lol, uhh, he's not super special on that. I've learned what he knows about diamonds, except on like 20 diffrent gemstones, and how-to hand make this stuff. He's a sales man. Honestly, try selling any of those after buying it. Won't get half what you paid Edit: not because he's selling you something bad. Just diamonds have very little real value. Buying them cheap is impossible, but selling them for what you paid is really difficult and takes some real work

If he sold someone a natural diamond piece and swapped it around and one of the customers took it somewhere else to sell it or test it and they found out it’s lab grown they would go out of business and his whole career would be ruined.

And yes essentially I paid for machinery and electric to make it, the labor, the jeweler to cut, the grading, the jewelry store mark up, etc. Because of that I’ll probably never see that money again if I resold. But I’ll never have to resale. I have a beautiful lab made diamond and if I want bigger or better cut color clarity I’ll just put that in a necklace or something. It’s definitely not for everyone, but there’s a bunch of other factors that led me to my decision and it all just makes sense for me, again not everyone, but for me.

Cost of mining and durability of the gems. Not all diamonds come from the same place so I’m sure the better reputation your mine has the more you can charge and so on.

Also I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure rarity is a factor.

If you have to put your chains in the pawnshop for rent money you shouldn’t be worried about buying jewelry at all. That shouldn’t be your priority. Your priority should be investing that money to get ahead and worry about jewelry when you have 6 figures in the bank.

Actually I was making six figures and some shit went down and I had to put my necklace in the pawn . So I would not lose my car . so I did invest in gold which saved my ass and I will be able to get it out of the pawnshop and it is a solid investment
