Personally I liked Adam ❤ and I wanted him to move past his father's judgement and grow into a decent person; not necessarily that I supported a toxic relationship/wanted a romance between a bully and his victim. Just like how we saw different side-characters being humanized past their tropes (like the geeky clarinet player who's itching to lose her virginity, or the jock who's perfect at everything but likes the "bad girl" who's hard to get.... He’s right to say about the grabbing and bullying as so many gay relationships on screen start with the bullying and it happens but can’t be romanticised. Adams a flawed character as he’s emotionally abused by his father. It explains but doesn’t excuse the behaviour however it’s a child and a character worthy of redemption

personally i dont ship adam and eric. at the end of day, they are bully and victim. for me i could never get past that.
