I just thought of this, but just try down clocking your CPU to factory settings if it fixes the problem for you. I know it's not your computer, but I've heard games can behave weirdly when CPUs are overclocked. Just a thought....

Yea they seem to take pride in their UK BS which it seem what they built the game really for they just tolerate us if you wanna think about it that way because we Continuous get shat on in tsw and TSC just search dovetail UK products vs USA product we can’t even get a damn metrolink logo for TSC but the routes and rolling stock for the UK are above average with refreshing assets while our routes we gotta reuse a lot of assets and borrow from those routes thankfully our community know how to get creative and make a custom building out of several 😂kinda like kit bashing

Good idea, except as we have seen from the "new" LIRR commuter route that was released last month, they would probably just end up charging the redone route at full price, even if you've already owned the original route.

They don't even care more about Europe, it's just the UK. Many German Routes are also in a poor state. Broken trains, wrong signalling and the poor state of some rolling stock (mostly sound) are just devastating. DTGs mentality of providing almost no after-release support is really getting on my nerve in recent months. No wonder why I mostly enjoy to drive the UK routes...

They even release UK routes that are complete dogshit and terrible products 🤣🤣🤣. If you want any quality for your money, look anywhere else but dovetail

Do you know what really annoys me about train Sim world? Is it really Not train Sim world? It’s more like train Sim Europe, and we only adding American route so we can be called a train Sim world so no one can complain that we’re not train Sim world with just focus on European made roots I know some of the European mad retard problems, but the German roots are always 100 times better no matter what they just seem like. There’s a lot more care and fought for them even though there are a lot of problems still on them but it just seems like they don’t really care about you American roots. Any time that people ask can you do this route in this country they give out a straight excuse. Yeah we kind of don’t want to do them because we have to learn the new operating system and signal system and all that and it just takes time and it’s not worth it. Translation, we do not want to do any other country besides Britain and Europe because Europe and Britain have very easy to understand operating system and we mainly care about Britain and if you don’t like that get lost loser, how do you make us even do American roots? That’s why they did Maple Valley line like what is the most easiest piss? Poor made lazy route in the whole of United States that is a passenger route from what I’ve heard. Apparently it’s to Maple Valley line Two hours on a passenger train from one end to the other end, and only I think from what I heard over a month ago 13 services, maybe 19 I think how hard is it to scrub 19 perfectly timetabled services, not at all all of equipment is ready made in other items from America in Los Angeles easy, cheap, lazy piss poor made route But from what I’ve seen, I don’t know if people have really complain about it. Believing that every two years will get a new came which is annoying but okay Then this year they come out with train Sim world for what’s the point what’s the point of playing my favourite train game on computer or console any more if they’re just gonna keep doing this it’s just pointless And as soon as I heard train Sim world 4 why instantly knew that the New New York transit line was not going to get an update in TSW3 I don’t care what anyone says until it comes out they’re not going to do it. They have already admitted that they’re shit canned. A bunch of updates improvements for TSW3 that were promised. Unfortunately, Dovetail's team does not care about their customers opinions and simply wants to take their money so they can keep making rushed and unplayable content.

I play on Series X and for some reason I’m starting to get random stutters along the route. It’s so weird right now that Dovetail hasn’t seemed to adress this yet.

Did you have the same/similar issues on TSW 3 too?

3 and 4 have the same game engine so the new timetable should be working. The biggest problem I guess is that Penn station is an old build. They just imported it from the LIRR which is a copy from NEC NYC. One of the very early maps from TSW2020. That’s why the tunnels look so shit as well. DTG should have build a new Penn station but I doubt that’s ever going to happen

They're from playing. This route is completely unplayable on any computer with reasonable specs

Flight Simulator uses powerful cloud backup from Microsoft and has a budget 3 times the size of TSW. Of course it works better

It is streamed in using the cloud, otherwise you would need a nasa computer to even be able to run it. If you also zoom in all the way, the texturing isn't great either which saves on performance. So high up in the air, it looks great but up close, not really

I hate that people are surprised when dovetail releases terrible products. It's to be expected at this point

Nope. This is all dovetail's fault. They know exactly how to make a lot of money from selling shitty incomplete products, and will keep doing that unless we all stop supporting them.

London commuter has only 2 trains that are also lighter to render then the American locos and wagons. And most of the 1400+ train journeys don’t end in London Victoria so you see less trains at the station anyway

During my testing, bml uses much less memory compared to new york trenton. Bml uses about 6gb. Trenton uses at most 13gb on my laptop and at least 11gb on medium/high settings. Thousands of services don't mean as much as the number of trains. London victoria only has 4 trains while penn has 7 trains (cab car is a train too). The services are also not all concentrated at victoria, it's all throughout the route. While penn station is all at penn station. Same with sehs. Not all trains and stations are at one station only. They're all over

If there was another good train sim that fits my needs, I would probably change train sims. But there really isn't which is why I buy each summer release even though I don't like it. I didn't buy simrail because I have zero interest in multiplayer. I didn't buy derail valley because I don't like the gameplay Other train sims: too hardcore and/or unintuitive

I have similar thoughts on Derail Valley. And as much as I want to up sticks and boycott DTG, there isn't really any other railway game that fits my interests besides TS classic.

Lags spikes and on certain trains on th timetable crashed my game a few times

Series s is next gen but only has 8gb of memory so it's still last gen. So it should only be xbox series x, ps5 and pc.

​@@potatoman451Perhaps but it's still rated as minimum current gen hardware regardless of the 8GB memory. I just think DTG are very sloppy at fine tuning their sim games. It's not as complex as MSFS2020 that eats thru the processors every second detailing any direction you go in. It's a routine train sim game with a set A to B route that should be easy to optimize.

Its Dovetail at fault not your pc hardware or Steam. Its always been the same on all TSW since they moved to UE regardless of pc spec
