I came across the video of a Russian doctor couple days ago, explaining about massaging the muscle that connects from the cranium to the jaw, the muscle of the coronary artery passes through. It helped a lot. That in combination with this is extremely helpful

Thank you so much, I’ve had pulsatile tinnitus for years and after reading your comment, I’ve researched the muscle : digastric muscle and some massage and exercise and it’s nearly completely gone.

@@theladyofthelakesFTs888 sometimes it's hard to even think or focus because the ringing gets so loud. Right now it's very faint. The Russian doctor said if your massaging the muscle on the left side turn your head to the right, and vice versa. I'm going to scroll through my history and find that video and return to post the link. I haven't verified my account with an ID, to make links clickable. But you can use pen and paper to write it down. Brb

Dear Dr Perry, am so grateful that you’ve shared this knowledge with us. I’ve applied the massage on my neck and for the first time in many months I slept pain free! I think as well that my neck pain is related with me clenching my jaw during the day (and maybe during the night as well). Thank you for your dedication and for recording all those fantastic videos ❤🌺🙏🏻! Best wishes, Jo.

Doctor. Perhaps you won't believe but I was praying ti God a while ago before watching this post for some remedy for my neck pain. It's been two decades I am having episodes of excruciating and pulsating neck pain at right side at exactly the same locations you have demonstrated. It goes up to my scalp as if someone's stabbing it and down to clavicle. Will update on this after doing self relief exercises you advised. GOD BLESS YOU SIR🙌🙏🙇‍♂️

Thank you for this - will give it a try. I’ve been having issues with my neck, jaw, throat and voice and think I developed tinnitus after stretching my neck too aggressively, as I also then felt pain in my left arm, as if I’d trapped a nerve or hit one of those nerves you mention. I’ve been trying to strengthen the SCM instead of stretching to try and take pressure off this area as it feels so weak and inflamed. Also trying to strengthen the pterygoids, scalenes and traps. It’s an absolute minefield around that area it seems but I’m trying everything to help this tinnitus. I know people say tinnitus is incurable but it doesn’t feel that way to me intuitively after how it came about. With your knowledge on the nervous system it would be great to hear if you have any insight into tinnitus!

Tinnitus is a tough one because of that minefield. There are a lot of possibilities that contribute to tinnitus.

Wow, are we the same person? I have the exaxt same problem. So sorry that you have to go through this, and I hope you get much better🙏 I've been struggling with tinnitus for about 5 years at least + neck pain, pinched nerve down my left arm, headaches, throat pain, always trying to clear my throat, and talking is exhausting too. My neck pain got so bad over time that everything was tedious, had to stop working November last year and got it checked out. Finally I had my neck surgery in February. So now I have a titanium cage/plate from C4-C7. Operation wasn't scary at all, the surgeon was very pro 😁👌 So I'm doing better, going regularly to physical-therapy and still doing weight training and trying to fix tension/posture. Gonna continue with these excellent exercises too 👍 Hopefully the tinnitus goes away😅 Just know there are options if it gets really bad and everything in life gets exhausting because of neck pain/problems. It sucks so Fu**ing bad to go through and to live with. I hope everything goes well for you friend 🙏🙏🙏

For a couple years it’s felt like there’s a huge knot right behind my right SCM. Not where you hook into it, but right behind there in the center area of the neck. It feels very tight, like a rope is in there, instead of a muscle. Hopefully, this will help get that part to relax. Thank you for the tutorial

Edit: this underneath I wrote 3 days ago, now want to tell you about my experiences with the massage. First massage: I found the spots quite easily. They are very sore in both sides and stone hard. It's like a big bone is in there, which of course it isn't. Deep massage is not possible, can't get in, only rubbing is possible. Not much later and although I had not massaged for long or hard, following your advice, I got a headache, coming up from my shoulders/neck. Nothing excruciating, I never have headaches, but this to me was bad. That went on the whole day. Next morning I massaged again, now it went better. This morning used the massage tool, that felt really good. Am still at the beginning, but will go on, slowly working this area into normality. Why that area is so hard is still a mystery to me, is that hard muscle or tendon? Thanks for posting this! Had many years ago twice within a year a whiplash due to someone crashing into my car. Had muscle ache but as that went I forgot it and went on with life. Only later realised that my left collarbone was drawn up, and still is and how much my neck had become stiffer. Now can hardly look over my shoulder, very annoying with backdriving the car!

Great timing... I've been trying to relieve this very spot! I've been trying but get nervous about touching the sensitive spot. I've been going for massages but most masseurs are not trained for this level of nerve/brain. And my doctor mostly wants to medicate, which mostly dulls... me . Question: could this be done with a tens? Thanks.
