That's because she's trying too hard. She knows that whatever she does Mordekaiser *will* come back yet she still makes futile attempts to stop him. In her panic she rushes everything without considering variables. To her credit her plans DID work in the past, it's just Swain kinda messed her up by blowing them up

Annie's mother is the third, and Annie herself is "the half" - as you said, she wasn't outright experimented on, but they did try to put her into one of these schools of theirs, which Annie ended up burning down. Though we don't know what happened later.

yeah this happened in the client during the "Danger" phase. Sion is heard saying "the hunger, it gnaws" and Briar responds with something like "you're not the only one who's hungry, Sion!"

the artist behind the splash art put all of the sketches for it on their twitter and basically with little descriptions of what they are, it seems she's now residing near Vladimir's castle since that's where all of the sketches were made and basically working as a "guard dog" for him at the moment

I don't think Sylas could travel to any of Demacia-Noxus battlefield since the latest story we got is he was around Dermacia-Freljord border. Sylas also got no reason to be with Noxus since he also hate Noxus as much as other Dermacian.

eh i dont think shes as strong as sylas, and demacia has no reason to keep her alive, shes a monster and magical Noxian weapon, theyd just kill her only way i can see her being a threat is if Demacia's petricite permanently breaks her shackles by weakening the magic but does nothing to her own source of power If petricite drains her too, she will be killed pretty fast by Infantry and if not, monster hunters. Demacia has a looot of monster hunters.

We actually already knew about Swain's knowledge of Sion. It's mentionned in Sion's bio that Swain uses him to scare parts of the Empire that are tempted to secede into compliance.

By the way she was actually created by Vladimirs blood! Since Vladimir is one of the oldests hemomancers and a vampire himself the black rose used this to their advantage and made Briar the failed fighter.

One of the things that I'm still thinking it's about Thresh that he's also on Noxus since he got free from the Shadow Isles, if we talk about expanding or develop the lore more it's not that Riot doesn't have stories to continue, I'm hopeful that Riot is doing something and they are not telling us... yet.

Doesn't Swain willingly keep Sion locked up until he needs a living weapon? Then he orders Sion to be dragged on to a battlefield and released killing friend and foe alike? That's how I read Sion's story, but I'm also taking LOR lore into account.

The only thing that doesn't convince me is calling Briar a vampire. Maybe they did start with a vampire concept but Briar ended up becoming what she is now. The thing is, they advertised Briar would be a real vampire, unlike Vladimir. But no, she ended up very similar to Sion, ironically. But since she isn't a zombie and she very clearly isn't a vampire either, considering the way she was created, that would make her a homunculus.

Yeah pretty sad, lore wise I was expecting something like a vampire that's very powerful, constantly looking for prey due to the high need of blood to fuel her power, not a berserker who has a semblance of sanity Ingame isn't good either :/ she stat checks and auto loses against champs with mobility due to her berserk status

I like me an enemy who seems to just be having fun with it, also she is scary when you think about it, just the kind of scary you would get with the joker, where you would be nervous being in the same room as them because you don't know if they'll decide to kill you, or even if they know if they'll do that. Like i'm pretty sure not many people would enjoy being in the same room as Jinx, same goes here.

I know the Vladimir voice line is mostly for fun, but... If we take that route of "dad" (even indirectly), it would make it that Briar is now somewhat family related to Gwen (Vlad is Viego's uncle, and Gwen is sort of Viego's child (More like Isolde's child, but if we say Briar is Vlad's kid, we can say Gwen is Viego's kid xDDD))

@@xman011101 Leblanc and Vlad did work together. Vlad gave blood magic and his own blood to Black rose, and one of the product was Sion. The question will be "is Brian the same?", with that it made Vlad "technically" a dad.

So, I was thinking about "escape buddy". It is made to look like a goofy mistake on Briar's part. "Ha, she took a Janitor for an escapee, she ain't the smartest". I want to argue with that. I think he was escaping. Briar confirms herself that she hears other cellmates. Would she just assume first person she meets is escaping? Its more likely she knew he was one of the people she heard. Whats more is the fact, he was 'strolling' right outside of the cells. I highly doubt Swain's guards allows just normal janitors without training to go there, since, as we see just a bit of blood can send Briar into frenzy. Of course someone must be cleaning around, but its probably either one of guards or trainded staff, not a random nobody. Even if somehow this was the getup of that trained staff - Briar must have seen them already and knew that it was just a janitor. There was no reason for her to think he is another escapee if he seen him or other staff before. He either saw Briar attack the guard and wanted to use her as distraction for his escape OR was there as secret agent to make sure Briar escapes. One more thing that got my attention is ominous whistling at the beginning of the launcher interactions. We all probably assumed its either the guard or one of the prisoners. However. Once Briar escapes andis outside - we hear it again. It cant be the guard, as she killed him. It can't be one of the prisoners, since they are still in thier cells - not outside. Who was whistling?

Demacia has Sylas while Noxus has Briar both giving their respective kingdoms a hard time for throwing them into the pit after their services were no longer needed.

Noxus has Rell and Anne too. Can probably include Kayne and Taliyah too but they're busy with other things. I just mentioned them because of their history with Noxus as being used as child soldiers. I think Riven counts as well...? She now protects Ionia so I can see her going against Noxus too.... Eh, everybody hates Noxus anyway.

I think absolutely briar should have a ongoing story where she is wandering around the place post escape, eventually meeting other champions and forming a ragtag ‘family’ unit with talon, Sion, Vladimir, and other appropriate characters, much to the chagrin of swain and Leblanc… and anyone else that is needing to deal with them.

After playing her, she feels like old league of legends design. All of it is very simple and straightforward, even if some of the descriptions are a bit verbose. Her character design is simple as well, with the pillory being the only really exaggerated part of her. The sharp points on it remind me of the original design of Evelynn, where spikes were ALL OVER her outfit as she was supposed to give off a dominatrix vibe that tied in with her hate-spikes and old ultimate which made even more spikes. There's nothing really super flashy about her, she's not complicated to play, and offers several interesting build paths that are all viable.
