How come I never heard this song on the radio anywhere in any genre: adult contemporary, country, or Christian? It had all the elements of a mega hit but it never happened. Two incredibly talented, passionate and beautiful voices, a pleasing romantic nostalgic lyrics & melody. All the ingredients of commercial success. It never happened and I am befuddled as to why. What on earth are radio programmers looking for? When this was played live on the CMA in June, I was afraid the probable commercial success of this song would ruin NTB so as to change their style. It was an unrealized fear so maybe it’s for the best that this didn’t become a commercial success and NTB didn’t become a household name. NTB is still the best, most talented, lyrically and musically most gifted group most people never heard of. Whatever the future holds I’m glad their music is a part of it.
