Aleks Le is 1 of the best dub voice actors ever he has voicied not only sung jin woo but as well Luke from street fighter 6 mikey from tokyo revengers protagonist from persona 3 reload mash of Mashel sonon kusakabe from final fantasy and surprisingly zenitsu from demon slayer which he did a pretty good job on zenitsu truly 1 of the goats

These last few days I've been watching a lot of english dubbed anime, maybe cuz it's not my first language so it feels different, but they all seem really cool and natural, was watching the isekai with the vending machine, and I'm certain it was funny just because of the dub

Me personally I like anime in both sub and dub but I usually watch the first few times in dub before I watch sub

This is one of the only anime I've ever seen where the English Dub VA's do a better job than the Japanese VA's. Aleks does an incredible job.

6:25 The Only reason I like Sub reactions vs Dub is because of this difference - Sub, I can read to keep up with the scene while reactor talks so I need to use rewind less - Dub, when reactor talks there’s no subtitles so the two voices mix and struggle to differentiate if they are similar volumes That’s just my preference But everyone has their own preferences Okiro vs Arise Dub wins for me …it just hits better Pretty sure Okiro means (wake up or get up) in JP

The sub elitism is real and it is bonkers! And it doesn't surprise me to hear that you got a lot of hate for trying to do a dub reaction. Please do more! I think the way to combat the anti dub hate is to normalize watching dub by putting out more dub reactions and other content. You're right - I hope this performance changes some minds too. English dubbing has improved tremendously the last 15 years and within the last 10 especially. There are a ton of great English VAs putting their hearts into the roles! Its tragic to see all the hate against them and their work - especially from those who didn't listen before deciding how they felt about dub or only listened to a line or two out of context and based their entire opinion of dubbed anime on it.

Jin woo vs igris fight dialogues are better in dub too make sure to react that as well, dub voice actor actually didn't knew English and when he got the appointment he specifically came to America and learned English. He added his own dialogues too in igris fight which were not originally planned.

no one was mad when they sad "okirou" except idiots what'd you expect them to say "AH RAI ZOO?" Even in the korean version of the source material they used the korean word for it and not "arise". If they did say "Ah Rai Zu" that would make it cringe as hell. It only works in something like Eminence in Shadow because that anime is MEANT to be cringe, and it embraces it. If they pronounced it perfectly, then that'd be inconsistent considering up until that moment, he had been pronouncing english words with a japanese accent. I'm just glad they actually USED Okirou and not "Ta Te" or smth meaning to stand up. If you wanna hear English words, watch the english version.
