In 2002, Aaron was just 14, the same age as my daughter who was battling cancer. Our family was flown from Oregon to his performance in Boston. He was so kind. She got to go backstage and he could not have been nicer. He made her “Make a Wish” dream come true. She has Down Syndrome and didn’t understand the details of her treatment, but she listened to his albums on our 6 hour commutes to Portland and even had his music playing when she received cranial radiation. Aaron, our family will never forget your graciousness and I will pray for your soul. Our daughter has remained Cancer free and still talks about Aaron and the concert .

Nobody wins here. He had his struggles but at the end of the day, he’s a father, a son, and a brother to his family and he will be missed every if they weren’t all on the best terms. RIP man, hope you find peace.

I grew up listening to Aaron carter all the time. To see what drugs and alcohol and the abuse he was given through the evil industry did to him is so sad to see. I still see the happy little kid dancing to Aarons party.

Secondly it also shows the downfall of America, how far society has fallen since the 90s when these kids started out as normal kids, but then straight down into drugs, mental health issues etc etc. As a 90s kid my heart is just broken on so many levels today. I am really heartbroken over Aaron. I was following him for awhile when he was doing some Livestreams then he stopped. When he got that huge face tattoo I really felt that was a red flag that he was suffering from Mental illness. He had been struggling for so many years and he really tried hard to be sober. Aaron was such a handsome and charming guy. So sad.

My heart goes out to his whole family. Most people don't know that he had a younger sister that died of an OD when she was just 25. Five years later the family loss their father. Now tragedy has hit again with the passing of Aaron Carter. I can't imagine what his family must be going through. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

Oh my goodness. I know how this young man struggled. He was in a dangerous grimy industry. You cannot leave your kids in the hands of those monsters in the industry. I saw him on I think Dr. Phil. He was extremely hyper. Something was haunting that young man. I'm so sad to hear this. That family had a lot of trauma.

Some of my best memories were chasing him at concerts and accidentally coming upon his limo at our hotel AFTER seeing him that night. He jumped out and talked to all of my kids! It was surreal. RIP Aaron❤

The guy looked dead in 3 of those pics, barely had his eyes open ffs so obviously this has been an issue for years, the family can't be that surprised, even so it's still tragic. I feel bad for his family, especially his kid. If you guys know anyone dealing with addiction please talk to them and ask them if they need help. Been sober almost 5 years now.

All those who bullied him relentlessly on twitter and instagram and all the other platforms, you drove him bonkers,you added to his mental health and drug addictions. He definitely shared too much personal life, but to those who told him to kill him self, you all are monsters! He was a real human being who had a hard past, you had no compassion and made a spectacle of him. I hope you learn and grow to become better people. May the Lord forgive you and I pray aaron made his peace as well with his saviour. When I met him in person he was so kind and felt deeply. He made bad choices. This is where it ended up. I lost a brother inlaw to heroine and mental health stabilizers mixed, he subsequently OD. There is no greater devastation than to lose your family member young!!!! Please do better and not ever bully anyone! Pray for them, encourage them with kindness, help them! My mama heart hurts!!!! I am his age 34 with 2 boys of my own….. May the Lord protect and keep them! Today I am heartbroken for his family!

I kept up with AC cause he was basically a local celebrity in my neighborhood. People in town would tell me he was a disturbance around town. Regardless of that, I grew up hearing his music and would tune into his Instagram Lives to see what he was up to. It was pretty clear everyone liked to gawk at his family issues, drama, anger etc. but overall I got the impression he was always a nice guy underneath. It’s disappointing he couldn’t get himself together in time. I hope he’s at peace wherever he is. RIP AC 🙏

I lost a Friend that died in the tub. She overdosed and drowned in the bathtub. I was living a life of addiction and I was lucky to make it out alive. Going on 6 years sober this upcoming April 13th. Rip Aaron

I’m a 27 year-old young man with Cerebral Palsy. I don’t like hearing stories like this because nobody knows how much time we have on Earth and I have career aspirations as an entertainment journalist and actor to achieve. I want to book work for Pepsi commercials and family movies like Toy Story and Sonic The Hedgehog 2. However, my grandma always said that young celebrities have difficulty dealing with the setbacks of fame because they achieved so much success when they were younger. I understand why I’m still waiting to achieve my dreams as I currently finish up my Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Video Arts Production from Bridgewater State University.

I will forever be able to recite all of a Aaron's "Aaron's Party" songs... He was my 1st album/real CD that I receive on my 8th birthday aha. I remember it like yesterday. He was live on Twitter the night before this happened, and everybody was being extremely rude to him. All of his viewers except for a handful were just bullying him. It was pathetic how he was being treated. Someone needs to look into that TikTok live.
