So it takes longer for Venus to rotate 360º(a day, or a venus version of our 24 hours.) than it does to take a full orbit around the sun. Not that hard to figure out.

I like Eugene the most i think he is actually the smartest one... this one was asking whether the reason short people were more active was because signals reach their brain faster...

I don't know why but I feel startalkradio but a mistake pairing up with nerdist channel. What's wrong with this simple setup right here? .. Its really entertaining and there's no need for all the formal setup of the nerdist videos.

Venus also rotates backwards compared to every other planet.

That's not true. Her job is to play the everyman to Neil's wise sage imparting knowledge. If you've ever heard any of Neil's many other comedian co-hosts, you would know that Leighann Lord and Chuck Nice are among the best. She's doing precisely what she was hired to do and doing it better than most.

Actually she is the second best co-host next to chuck nice. They are supposed to represent the regular folks like us. both of them engage neil in a conversation. Eugene however does not come off as smart at all. He just keeps interrupting neil with jokes and jokes and more jokes. He does not know when to converse with neil and when to joke.

AH HA!!! I believe I am going to correct Neil appropriately here. "how many stars are born each day" is the question. He assumes this question pertains to our galaxy and I am not sure why he assumes this. There are is a rough estimate that there are about 500 billion galaxies. Some quick math (given our galaxy is average size and a number of other variables) a star is born every approximately every .00005 seconds.

mattybertsch Yes, it's not complicated, but he just explains it more simpler.

I don't find Eugene as irritating as some people do but he's definitely not my favorite co-host. Chuck Nice is easily my favorite and if you watch enough of Leighann you'd see that her sense of humor (they're all comedians, you know) occasionally involves deliberately silly questions and self deprecation. She's not stupid. If you want to hear stupid, go back and listen to the first couple of seasons when Lynn Koplitz was the co-host for every episode. Like nails on a chalkboard.
