Usually I’ll watch something and give it a try and end up missing a detail and it gets shut down. Watched this yesterday and tried it today caught my sparring partner 3 times in one roll! Give it a try this works!! Thanks for sharing

I tried it,the guy kept his arm tight against my shin i couldn't free it,i had to switch to something else,only if the guy is clueless this would work,i tried his other set up,it's much much better

as much as we can worry about algorithms giving us ads, it also shows me prime content like this

This position is very similar to the stage 1 to 1.5 punch block the Gracie's teach. The difference is overhook arm and hold the head instead of the Irish collar and when doing knee ride aka 1.5 push leg down and around to top if you can't get the leg out. Great video. I enjoyed training with Neil doing catch wrestling a couple of months ago. He has a lot to offer

I was thinking the same thing. In a fight which is preferred? This one limits your mobility and theirs ( I feel it's like Eddie bravo style). The 1.5 allows you to limit their mobility and still give yourself the ability to move... Whats your take? I like the setup and im definitely going to try it. Thanks for the video.

What happens when his right arm traps my left leg while trying to go for a triangle?? I got to that position 3 times but he held my ankle in his armpit

then go for that kimura he was showing at 2:47 or try swiveling it out.
@NoBody-ro3xj5 жыл бұрын
That's one of the things I dont like about the move it limits some mobility. Do what tge guy before me commented and also try the 1.5 setup ( around the world) normally when they trap, you kick thru and go around

Yup. Montel is a stud. Would you believe he is only 19 or 20 in this video? We call him the Man Child!

Wikipedia says he's blind except for in his right eye. I sometimes close my eyes when I roll. I think of it like the force. Remember the scene in the old ones where Luke uses the light saber without sight?

Yeah some people bitch about Neil not having much of a competition record in MMA or grappling but they don't realize that the guy was very sick in his prime athletic years and is still dealing with the fallout from that.
