The Neptunia series famous for lampooning and celebratings all things gaming and anime related returns once again for another spinoff title, this time a real-time hack-and-slash not all too different from their Tamsoft developed titles, yet still capable of standing on it's own as its own unique product.
Today however we look not at the game itself, but the Limited Edition which comes with a really unique pack-in I've never received in an LE before!

I picked up a copy of this game and THEN went to look up to see if it had a special edition. Yeah, I decided I should have picked up the special edition. This video really sends that concept home. Fun unboxing video for sure, the robust coloring of the special edition jumps out in a really nice way and that Steelbook is gorgeous. Thanks Tarks, really enjoyed this video!

This chaotic unboxing and editing style gives me everything I need 😂 Seems like a pretty decent LE- I’ve been seeing super mixed reviews on the game itself, so I’ll definitely be waiting for a sale… but unlike most of the spin-offs, I’m actually a little tempted to get back into the series with this one.

I would totally recommend it, though it's half main title and half spin off if you ask me. Spoilers if I elaborate though. It's definitely one of the better games in recent years though. That Virtual Stars game and the Senran Kagura crossover were very mid and that's being nice.

I think there was something about a law in Britain that caused both NIS and Yify to start shipping the games apart from the collector's boxes. I suppose it was easier for them to just make that a world-wide thing.

NISA does not ship games separately. I bought Trails to Azure and Grim Grimoire LE and the games came in the box with the rest of the content.

Apologies for double posting but I suddenly came to a realization, days after the fact, and I really want to ask now. Was the fact you took out a Game Gear for a size comparison intentional? Cause, you know, Nepgear being the MC and all? You sold it so nonchalantly that I didn't think twice about it at the time.

Man so I cracked this bad boy open and wanted to give the game a proper chance. But is it just me or are beat em ups just kind of boring? We havent had a mainline entry in so long I feel like they could have got away with copying the gameplay of meganep instead of this. Like the only series I like with this gameplay is Yakuza
