If you are going to be hunting monsters you need armor. The best armor in my belief, for hunting supernatural creatures is spiked armor. Or more specifically, leather armor with steel plate reinforcements with 3 to 6 inch silver tipped steel spikes. These spikes will prevent creatures that use brute force from locking their jaws on the body as well as punching or clawing it. If the creature were to try to do so, they would receive injuries from the silver tipped spikes. It would hurt even more if they are vulnerable to silver or iron.

That was God-awful and made zero sense within the movie’s own logic. Why the fuck would a seasoned werewolf hunter do something that stupid when he knows for a fact it wont do anything and he’s guaranteed to absolutely fail, knowing he has the exact type of bullet needed to kill the werewolf in his RV and instead decides to just disregard that fact and just drive his RV at the werewolf? Terrible writing by a hack writer that’s why.

I think when Liv encountered Thale in her pawsome form in the town, she didn't want to shoot her in front of Jenny. No matter the circumstances, seeing her sibling gunned down in front of her could have given Jen severe psychological trauma. Since Liv shoots Thale away from Jen later on, she can always tell her that Thale ran away. Jen would still be sad and feel lonely, but that should be easier to manage. Children can cope with absence better than violent death.

When hunting wolves, you arw to keep the dog on a leash actually. Letting them go can be really dangerous if one dog comes up against one or more wolves. Two dogs vs one wolf and the wolf will run off. You only really use the dogs fpr tracking and to be a pack against a singular wolf.

The only explanation I can think of why darts work instead of lead is that Liv's daughter is very young. She probably can easily die from normal firearms. A mature werewolf is bulletproof.
