This game was wayyyyy ahead of it’s time. Think a lot of companies secretly got ideas off this little known gem

after 15 years I finally found it. Forgot the name of the game many years ago.

Someone got me this game when I was a kid. Never could get it to run on my computer. Now I finally know what I was missing. Not a bad idea honestly. Good way to allow children into the FPS genre.

I can't believe I found it. Yap, that was the game. Childhood memories, I had demo version of it and I wasn't half-bad at it, either :D

It's neat how this game discourages camping and encourages close combat with the whole dropping of bonus points upon knocking someone out.

Someho I played this before I ever got my hands on Unreal Tournament. Maybe my parents thought this would be more appropriate for a 9-year-old. But I soon got my hands on Unreal Tournament anyway :)

This should get a remaster and became an e-sport. alt shots would be used for awesome outplays to make a crowd roar.

I had this game as a kid and its responsible for getting me addicted to UT2004 for literally ten years. I still play both sometimes to this day.

Even in 2020 you can download the demo and play online. I've been playing for a few hours. It seems that lots of people still play this!

I had a ps1 when I was a kid, probably 2007-8 or so, and I always saw this game in the game store I went to. I always wanted it, but other games usually got my attention. Eventually I forgot about it, and I've never seen what it was like until now.

Fuuuuck nostalgic much. loved this game, especially the maps where you had to collect numbered balls and fire them into that port, and the one that got them all won. found a cheesy exploit against the AI, where you could sit at the port and catch the balls as the AI shot them at you. heh.

I will never forgive those festering bags of shit at ESRB for rating this game "T" thus ruining it's marketing. Why did they do this, because you can fall into lava? You can do that in Crash Bandicoot too. Hell Freespace 1 and 2 were rated E and you killed people in those games. Then again Descent 2 was rated T even though you only destroyed robots. I swear, that place was staffed with lobotomites.

@Bivar There are certainly community still since nerfarenaDOTnet is active. I got my UT99 to show servers but this game, eventhough it uses Unreal engine, does not want to show me the servers :(

I just discovered my disk for it and got it loaded on my computer, but I'm having problems being able to see options. I can play and run around but can't see health/points/all that.

@bahamut2k456 I misunderstood. I now notice that you must have the CP as the electro shield has the little hit effect and your Secret Shot doesn't show a draining ammo bar (both fixes I implemented). If you'd like, you can still ask for me there and I can add you to our Skype group, get you into some matches with live people! I also announce when I release updates there, so you know when to run the Updater.
