In this video I descuss motor units, rate coding, and muscle fiber. Have you ever wondered what is actually happening in your muscle when you choose precisely how much force to exert? Or when you hold a weight steady in place? How does an isometric contraction differ from a plyometric, concentric, or eccentric one on an anatomical level?
And how can understanding all this help you to train smarter and get stronger? Train your nervous system and tap into

Bare Knuckle Canuck It took a long time to from 50,000 to 83,000. Unless he does something that blows up and goes viral, his slow subscriber climb will continue. Getting 1 million will take years, and he’s already been doing this for 10 years.

@@taoist32 Maybe it took 10 years as the internet has just been installed in humanity, and that now it's still in a tryout phase, where you can only find distracting and useless content. This technology has so much more to offer, and in the near future phones and the way we use internet will be regulated and used to benifit us, not to stupify us. Therefore if The Bioneer will continue, he will be riding the next big wave (hitting the 1 million EZ) and the ones that took the first wave will be like the yesterdays meme.

Same. Seeing someone combine bodybuilding / powerlifting / weightlifting / strongman / calisthenics / gymnastics / martial arts is a godsend. Train them all and be well-rounded and able to handle any possible physical contingency, I say. Be lacking in nothing.

Hey! Big fan. Do you have any videos on how to become more durable? Not just last longer in a fight or physical activity but also how to be more durable to damage. For example if you're a fighter like a boxer, how would condition you're body to take more hits. How can you make your body more tough and durable like Captain America for example.
@alirezaweirdo3439
@alirezaweirdo3439 4 жыл бұрын
Bro im a fighter like you are and i train martial arts The best way from my mind to get to be able to endure more hitts and not get damaged much is to first work on your bone strength cuz most of the times its the bone that really gets real damage but the muscle repairs soon and about bone strength you can start hittin your body to stiff objects like kicking the tree instead of the bag or punching a hard wall(start slowly dou...) and for other parts of your body you can ask a partner to punch and kick you gently so you get used to the hitt I also think ice bath helps alot for you. good luck my friend.

Necessity is the mother of invention and I’ve had only my body and resistance I can provide through it, isometric movements is all I have had, flexibility and strength and endurance has been the natural effect of constant movements across the body in random tandem.

ok, so. I have a question concerning this and my current training. In Tai Chi we stand in the wuji stance which is a gravity isometric exercise that focuses almost exclusively on the quadriceps. I have enough medical knowledge to already know what is going on in my nervous system and musculature but what I want to know is.... Is there an amount of time that would be ideal for this type of exercise, I do it for 20 minutes a day, feel free to check my channel, I do it on camera. Some Tai Chi practitioners claim to do it for 4 hours a day but i think that is a bit too obsessive. Thank you. I also wanted to know if adding weights will have any added benefits and if so, how?

Man, you can contribute a lot. Your presentation though, sucks! Please work on not being a machine gun mouth and try to keep your audience in mind. Not everyone will have the same attention span. I cannot separate as well what was the relevant and irrelevant from your blabber. My takeaway was that you should do ISOMETRICS to train your nervous system and Im not sure if I got that right. Eventually I might just unsub.
