Ness, the main character you play as in Earthbound, or Mother 2 in Japan. Under the guidance of Buzz Buzz after a meteor crashed into his hometown, he sets off on a journey to defeat a future apocalypse led by Giygas. On the way he meets with other kids that become party members like Paula, Jeff, and Poo. Ness is equipped with weapons like a baseball bat and is also a gifted psychic. He however becomes homesick and has a empty relationship with his dad
The Prince of All Cosmos, son of the King of All Cosmos, comes from the Katamari franchise by Bandai Namco. In each installment, his father goes on some wacky hijinks which usually leads to the destruction of the world and afterwards makes his son clean up his mess. You The Prince, roll up items into the Katamari which is then converted to stars, planets, and islands depending on the game. If failed, The Prince is subjected to a beating by his father.
