11 күн бұрынIsrael's Prime Minister has disbanded the war cabinet he formed after the October 7 attacks.
It's a move that was widely expected.
Benjamin Netanyahu says he may create another group for limited consultation on sensitive issues.
The announcement comes just over a week after Benny Gantz quit the cabinet.
The Israeli government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting there, so Bernard Smith is joining us from the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Alon Liel is a Former Director of Israel's Foreign Ministry and served as the Israeli ambassador to South Africa.
He warns that Netanyahu's war cabinet dissolution may escalate aggression in Gaza and Lebanon.
