But honestly though most of the times Blackpink doesn't feel like a group anymore. They could have had so much opportunities as a group had their company just gave them a chance. They could do so much better in all honesty. Their management is just half-assing the group. The reason why there are more solo stans than ot4's is because the amount of exposure and promotion they have as a group doesn't even compare to their promotions as individuals. You see them most of the time doing their own stuff which is great for them individually but the amount of opportunities they have as a group and that potential right there is just being wasted. Edit: Blackpink has been a group for 5 years already but how many albums have they released? 4? 5? 6? And those are not even full albums. Most of them are mini-albums. Their group history for music making looks like those of a new group in their 2nd year. Them as a group probably wanted to perform a lot as a group. Make songs, and sing. I don't want this to be another 2ne1 kind of thing that even after they disbanded they only released 1 full album. JUST ONE in their 7 years of being a group. Blackpink didn't train to be models, or whatever they're doing right now. They trained to be idols. Their content and even songs are being recycled right now. BP is the biggest girl group in the world but they're not even moving like one. They're the biggest girl group in the world but they're management recycles content like BP didn't make enough revenue to warrant them new opportunities. It really is just horrible.

They need to stop think about all the hard work, years of training, going from agency to agency to be turned down and so on that these idols go through. Some even leaving their home country to achieve their dreams, making the sacrifice at very young age a lot of them. There's many other elements, but nobody deserves to disband or be disbanded.

for everyone who said fromis_9 isn't deserve their existence in kpop industry: 1. fromis_9 has long hiatus (1 year 3 months) and went "dead" by giving no update for months after the case leaked. is that enough? even after the rigging vote case, IZ*ONE still got chance to comeback with fiesta, their delayed album, while fromis_9 was still waiting August. for rookies, the hiatus is very illogical, plus their comeback usually have gap between more than 7 months. 2. fromis_9 is a permanent group for 7 years and every trainees who joined Idol School should be an independent trainee and didn't belong to any agency. if they're disbanded, they don't have any "home" to handle them individually unlike group from produce. 3. they moved their agency for 3 times.. 3 years group being transferred into 3 company is just crazy. 4. idol school and produce series have different production team, for hell's sake. even the producers said that the girls weren't responsible for anything because they settled up by the producers. 5. only have one showcase in their entire career, no lightstick, no official logo, no concert, (was) not having any proper promotion schedule, low quality costume? lol, you think they are over the sky after debuting? they were very mistreated by company. If you think they are on their peak of happiness of debut, NO, THEY AREN'T. even Jisun said, Talk&Talk just like their start line as they just begin their new story. can't name how the girls are being mistreated since there are lots of it but it will be too long to tell.

For the Fromis_9 situation, IZ*ONE's contract is only 2.5 years while Fromis_9's has the permanent group contract which is like 7 years. Idol school and produce are 2 different shows but both are from mnet. I'd say there's nothing unfair with IZ*ONE disbanding and Fromis_9 not disbanding. IZ*ONE stayed and promoted until their contract ended. However, fromis_9 remained in the dark despite being under the same company with IZ*ONE. They had no promotions what so ever since otr focused on IZ*ONE. I do agree that its unfair for the girl who got rigged out in the group but they all went through the same struggles together so i'd say all of them are deserving rigged or not.

I don't think Fromis should disband, personally. Think about it, the people who are mad aren't thinking about the actual members of the group. They are technically victims in this situation, and it wouldn't be fair if they disbanded just because of angry netizens. Jiwon couldn't debut for years and she now finally has a chance in the industry. Don't blame the group, blame the production company of Idol School. Yes the victims of rigging should be compensated, but I don't think that "compensation" includes Fromis_9 disbanding. Also, Fromis was meant to be a permanent group anyway.

as much as I love BP, I think they'd really benefit disbanding and going solo. They need to sign with a different company. YG is using them only as a marketing strategy and not as a full fledged group. all 4 are so different musically and imo they don't fit together well as a group. they're each on different levels and it seems like they'd be better off going on separate paths.

During the lineup for idolschool , the producers changed how voting worked without informing the public so it's not like they decided to switch out 3 people and put 3 ones in. They just liked the lineip thry got when the voting system changed. I'm not justifying that it was okay for them to do this, I am just saying at least unlike X1, these girls actually received votes and weren't planned to debut beforehand
