I was about to put the router back in the box because it didn't work well in any mode but only your video helped me to finally see the problem in the configuration. Thanks a lot, you just saved me from my wi-fi issues and from trying to explain to my wife why I wasted money in something that actually didn't work.

I was skeptical but it worked. I skipped some steps as I didn't need this to be wireless, I just needed this to turn my router into a switch. Worked, very happy :)

Here you have advised to connect main router LAN to ap LAN. But in the tplink manual it suggests to connect main router LAN to ap WAN. Can someone kindly explain why there are two different suggestions and what difference does it make?

I think if you connect LAN to LAN, then Disable DHCP on AP Router and give it a fix IP 192.168.2.X and then it will work as AP, if you give to the SSID the same name as the Main Router then you will have kind of a Roaming function and only one network?

Horrible video. Didn't work for me. I have not been able to find a good video on how to turn a TP Link router into an access point. No one explains if your main router is connected to the computer or your access point router is the one connected to your computer. You all need to explain how to start from scratch. I will figure it out and make a better video.
