I was like, 6 when I first saw this and I have forever been haunted. I now have a massive fear of level crossings. Like, if I go near one in the car, when we drive onto it to go through, I get terrified and feel like a train's gonna come out of nowhere and crash into me. I'm trying to get over my fear, but there's been little improvement, thanks to this advert. And this was the advert before 9 o' clock, Lord knows how I would have been if I saw what it was after 9 o' clock.

If I was that girl at 0:22 , with my fear of level crossings, I would run the opposite direction and find a shortcut from there.

That’s why the level crossing is there incase of the incoming train and they always say slow down stop and wait behind the line and never drive the barriers nor jump the lights because that’s where you get hit by a train

Wasn't there another version of this same ad with an alternate shot at 0:18 where the dead driver is facing us? I remember it was quite creepy, especially with that eerie scoring.

Remember kids, trains are big beefy steel things that hurtle at high velocity across the countryside and have an inability to stop on a dime, so if you see one, don't expect it to stop like a car would stop at a Zebra crossing.

How stupid do you have to be to jump a level crossing when a train is coming.
