I’m only 23 but I’ve been having diplopia come on slowly over 3-5 months. Thought it was my myopia getting worse but yesterday I turned my TV on and read the ghost image above an icon before the actual text, and came to terms that this is different than blur. Hopefully I have a case of optic neuritis provoked by recent COVID infections which will go away on its own, since my mother is freakishly disposed to bell’s palsy, but I’m anxious that it’s something like a pituitary tumor pressing on the optic chiasm. oh well, we’ll see soon, but I’ve been enjoying learning about the eye and brain in the meantime.

Thanks for the many informative videos. I hope there will be one about bilateral monocular diplopia.

How r u now

@@naturehub782 I still have it. I think that my bilateral monocular diplopia is caused by having -1.50 diopters of astigmatism in both eyes. It goes away when I look through a pinhole, which suggests it's caused by refractive error.

People talking in the background have no respect for Dr Lee, which is a shame !

Dear Dr Andrew Lee, my name is Michele Aquaro from Singapore. I am currently having non paritic diplopia since November 2021, onset 5 months after my craniopharymgioma surgery on June 2021, around the pituitary gland, pushing the sellar. My left eye has only half vision field (nasal). My right eye has only quarter vision field (nasal). Do you reckon I can recover from the double vision?
